  1. I added the puppies I sold last weekend to the petplan site today. It took 2 weeks to get the breeder registration number - even with me calling every second day. Not sure I will bother again.
  2. Anyone else that has registered a Dual Sire litter can I ask what paperwork you provided to the Canine Council (and which state)?
  3. Just thought I would update this post as we got puppies from my Dual Sire litter. The DNA came back last week and they were registered today. In the end we had 3 puppies from one sire and one puppy from the other sire. It has been a PITA to cross the t's and dot the i's to get them registered but it finally done and now I can get them entered in shows.
  4. I co-own one and show a few others for a friend. Was going to come up with her but decided to go to Sydney to the Flyball instead.
  5. I was entered (Boxers only) but didn't end up going.
  6. 4-5hrs for a day trip. 6-7hrs for an over night. Have travelled Canb - Adelaide several times and Canb - Brisbane several times. I consider anything under 3 hrs one way a "local" show Next on the list is to do the NT circuit - hopefully this year. Would love to do some shows in Broken Hill as well.
  7. Entries arrived here (Canberra) today.
  8. I can't actually remember :-) It was pouring rain and I was running between rings. I think it might have been the Pom (Dot Williams) but don't quote me. Cav from memory runner up - but again not really sure.

  12. In my breeds the older the faster (especially dallies) so the older dogs behind would have trouble moving if they were following the younger (slower) dogs. No!!!! I always get my entries there just before closing. If I ever get married his surname will have to start with "A". There are plenty of people that have changed their surname so they are at the front of the line at shows.
  13. They must be smarter down south. We always get "where's the other 99?" as I walk ONE dalmatian past. The Pugs are usually Shar Pei's or Bulldogs. I have has one person tell me my Pug was a Cocker Spaniel as she bred them so she knew. My favorite was the fathers that told his kids with all authority that the Dalmatian is the dumbest dog on earth and he would never own one. It was very late at a Royal so replied that they were not Dalmatians but Mexican Spotted Dogs. He left telling the kids that when they got home they were to look up the Mexican Spotted Dogs and find a breeder so they could buy one.
  14. Our local Kmart (Tuggeranong, ACT) yesterday had all the Optimum and Purina One Dog and Cat food reduced to clear. Not sure if it was a local deal or all Kmart's are getting rid of their stock. If you feed either of these might be a good idea to check your local Kmart Store.
  15. My bubs are now 5 weeks old (and Faith is 4 weeks). Paddy: Snickers:
  16. This was taken a few years ago when Rin (Dally) was sharing mother duties with Disney (Pug).
  17. Updated Pictures of my babies - now 4 weeks. Paddy: Major: Snickers:
  18. Updated pics of my Babies. Boots litter - now 3 weeks old: Daisy's baby - 2 weeks old:
  19. Pug are the most hearbreaking breed to ever have and even though they break my heart at times I still love them and would breed again. I have has 4 litters this year: Litter 1: Lost Mum and all 5 babies Litter 2: 2M born (1M survived) Litter 3: 5M and 2F born (3M and 1F survived) Litter 4: 2M and 1F born (1F survived) The 1st 3 weeks we watch the babies 24/7 and mum are never left with the babies unless we are watching them. Mortality rates are high enough without Mums squashing the bubs. Why do I do it? Because the joy I get from watching the bubs is amazing and seeing them go to their new homes where I know they will be loved and cared for makes it all worth the heartache and pain. Lucky I have a fantastic vet that knows my girls and trust me when I say there is something not right.
