  1. After. Not all classes that offer points are compulsory now, there is limit, state bred, graduate, just to name a few.
  2. Neuter Classes are not compulsory. NSW did try to make it so but it was rejected at a NSWCC board meeting I believe that Rylstone/Kandos will be offering them in July and if so I will be attending. Just by offering this class I will make the trip and probably take 6-8 dogs (not all neuter) with me. Good entries for the club and a chance for me to get a start with my neuter on a title for her. I will be watching to see what clubs offer neuter class and trying to attend if possible.
  3. BIS: Aussie Shepherd RUBIS: Pointer Aust Bred in Show: Siberian Husky (also BIG) BIG Toys: Pug RUBIG: Pug Terrier BIG: Scottie Gundogs: As for RUBIS Hounds: Beagle Working: As for BIS Utility: Siberian Non Sport: Lhasa RU Non Sport: Dally
  4. The timeline can vary soooo much :nahnah: . I had one bitch mate day 3,4,5 and she was finished and out of season in a week. Another mated day 22,23,24 and was still standing a week after that. I wouldn't worry unless she was actually peaking (and if she has just started that is very unlikely). Saying that I had a bitch at a show last Saturday and Sunday and she was peaking (we mated her while we were away) but it was our National we only have once every 2 years so I did take her, just kept her crated unless in the ring.
  5. Any chance you took any on Friday of the Dalmatians or the Min Pin?
  6. We travelled to the Flat Face Toy Dog Club today where there were about 50 Pugs entered. Zac (Yarrowfell Lone Pine) was Res Dog and Junior in Show!!! Faith (Yarrowfell million dollar baby) at her 1st show was 1st in the baby bitch class (6 shown). Their Mum Daisy (Dual Ch Yarrowfell Wicked in Silk CCD FDCh CGC was 2nd in Aust Bred (6 shown). Off to the Pug Club tommorow.
  7. A camera is good for documenting the event (i assume you wanted a stud agreement form - will email you mine)
  8. Erin, If you get time at the Royal on Friday head down to the Overflow area and looking for the Flyball Dogs. We will be there racing with the Dallies, Min Pin and Pug. Come and say Hi!!
  9. Petplan - 6 weeks free for puppies you sell. You have to register as a breeder on their website and get a login from them. Then as soon as you know the new owners details you can register the puppy on the site as well. Great idea as puppy can get upset bellies etc when they go to new homes and they are covered if needed.
  10. I will be there a few days. Good Friday 2nd April - Flyball Easter Sunday 4 April - Dalmatians Thursday 8 April - Pugs Saturday 10 April - Havanese If you are there any of those days come and say Hi.
  11. Well the Toys group will be even smaller as I am not taking my 4 that are entered. One of the bubs is not 100% and I am not happy going to a show when one is ill so will miss out. Good luck to those showing - will wait to hear results.
  12. Will be there. I fly back into Australia on Thursday, have Friday to bath and groom and unpack then a show on Saturday
  13. I believe that show training classes in the ACT are no longer running, not sure why, just heard on the grapevine they have ceased. Maybe give the ACTCA a call and ask?
  14. Catalogue now online: http://www.actroyal.com/index.html
  15. Catalogue now online: http://www.actroyal.com/index.html
  16. Thanks. I have no idea where I put mine.
  17. Does anyone have access to a catalogue and would be able to tell me how many Pugs were entered. Thanks.
  18. My 1st Dual Sire litter was born 11/12/09. We mated the girl (Pug) over 4 days, morning to one boy and evening to the other. 7 pups born, lost 3. Of the 4 left we had 3 from one Dad and 1 from the other Dad. Looking at the babies growing up we guessed the Dad of 3 of then by looks and personality, the 4th pup we were wrong. My 2nd Dual Sire litter was born 19/12/09. Same mating ritual. 3 pups born, 1 survived. We guessed her Dad correctly. The two still born I am 90% sure were the same Dad and the girl that survived as all pups were very similar and the two Dads are quite different. The 3 from Dad 1: and the 1 from Dad 2:
  19. Absolutely not. What if the drip comes out? My boy spent days on a drip and I went in each day several times and hand fed him KFC nuggets (the only thing he would eat). Once he was eating and drinking he came home to recover.
  20. Just received some information that it now looks like the classes will be optional for the time being. Hopefully we can get that changed to at least make class 18 required.
  21. Absolutely they can survive. My boy was at the vet on a drip for 3 days (he was 5 months when he got Parvo), he then came home and was thin/quiet for a while. It took him about 6 months to get back into condition and in the ring again. He is a fit, healthy dog now.
  22. I have just spoken the Administrator of the ACTCA and it is his opinion that these classes WILL NOT BE OPTIONAL in the ACT, clubs must hold these classes after 1st July 2010.
  23. I have several eligble so will be entering. I wonder if I get a Neuter Ch on one of my Dual Ch dogs (assuming I neuter one of them) I can apply for a triple Champ???
  24. I submitted two forms and all DNA certificates (from GenTech) as per what I was told on the phone by the office staff. I then received a call telling me I needed to supply Microchip forms for all pups with their proposed registered names on each form. I spend most of Monday on the phone but finally got the paperwork back yesterday.
