Sorry for late reply. We booked the recommended vet(Ocean keys vet) tomorrow from you helpful guys but not sure if the vet is Adrian.(Has to be Adrian or all of them are pro and helpful?) Here are some pics from today. I bought him a wooden house but he doesn't want to get in even few seconds. We played with him today and he is very active. He is Weeks old (1st vaccination finished) is it okay to put him outside? I already isolated the grass and the soil. Will update tomorrow night when we meet the other vet. Thanks again for helpers.

Short update here. The stool looks fine in the morning. He become active and cry for access of backyard, this is the 1st time I hear he crying. The vet(yesterday) gave me metrogyl to the pup, I do the research on internet ppl said it might harm to growing puppy, is that true? Should I still use the tablet before I see another vet?

It was probably sick there too. You are entitled to get your money back as puppies are supposed to be fit and healthy when sold. In Victoria they're also supposed to be 8 weeks old and micro chipped. If you take the puppy back - you might be able to get one from somewhere more reliable than a pet shop. I am waiting for his morning poo to see if any improvement otherwise I will go to vet/another vet to make sure he is fine. I won't get the refund from them. If vet proved he is sick, I have the right to ask the pet store pay all the fee.(?not sure, make sense for me). I can't imagine what they are gonna do with the pup if I accept refund. Probably disappear forever. Hopefully not. At least I will check how' he's going this morning.

Sorry to hear about your sick puppy. Unfortunately, I do not have any medical background and can't give informed advice. Hope some other dol-ers will respond soon. Was the puppy examined by a vet? Or only by the shop owners? I would take the puppy to a vet as soon as possible. I took him to vet for a pup check today, it is free because it is the pet shop recommended vet-check. The vet thought the cause of bloody poo is stress/new environment and gave the metrogyl to apply. I should trust the vet but I just worry about him.

Hi there, I just bought a golden retriever puppy yesterday from a famous chain pet store. My wife and I thought this poor little thing was so unhappy so we decided to bring him home since we bought a house and ready to have a pet. Last night when the puppy arrived to our home, he was so unhappy and sad, also lay down on the floor. We understand this is normal especially a puppy to a new environment. We observed his 1st poo, it has the general shape at the front-mid but bloody at the end of the poo. We started to think he is ill, we observed today as well, all 4 times poo are with blood in the end. They guaranteed the pup they sell is healthy for limited time, in this case, is the pup healthy? I did research for information about bloody poo and we are worry about the pup. Their shop has their own recommend vet check for the pup and they gave some metrogyl 200mg for the pup to apply. In this stage, what should I do? Go for another vet check? Wait for few days? Sorry about poor English. Anything recommend appreciated. KA
