Can anyone help with a contact for someone doing Labrador rescue in NSW. I know of an old boy of 11yo and his 7yo female companion who are needing urgent rescue assistance.

Urgent Help Needed Regarding Stressed Cavalier!

Try some calming paste. I have found it really good for stressy fosters http://www.vetproductsdirect.com.au/ItemDesc.asp?IC=Valcalm -
thanks He is lovely and so funny. Ubu had a failed adoption recently where he was returned after a few days, poor babe has been depressed ever since. How sad Any ideas as to why? Just a poor choice by the adopters? I think it was a case of the adopters having another dog and Ubu didnt get along with it. I am sure your boy is out there waiting for you. :) Just a thought ..... if Ubu has been kennelled for over a year (obviously he would have been having play and exercise sessions) how do you know for sure the he isn't good with other dogs. In another situation, with another person (particularly someone as experienced as baifra), he might be completely different from how he presents in the shelter. I do understand that it would take a huge leap of faith to try to discover that. I agree absolutely. I am not sure of the exact circumstances, but the shelter would be able to give more information. I have sent them an email, just awaiting reply

Meet the gorgeous Ubu who after being cared for at the shelter for more than 1 year he has been surrendered for rehoming. At almost 10 years old Ubu is still an active boy who is just a delight and the staff adore him. He is looking for an owner who is prepared to be owned in the way that only Blueys can, Ubu wont want to share you so he will need to be an only dog. Plenty of balls and toys are an absolute must. I am absolutely gobsmacked that Ubu hasnt been snapped up already. http://adoptapet.com.au/animal/animalDetails.asp?animalType=3,16&statusid=3®ionID=7&task=search&tpage=1&animalid=291199

Thanks for the tips, I will pass them all on :D -
A lovely colleague is looking for a pug (or two) to adopt, she recently has the heart-wrenching situation of buying a pup through a byb that consequently developed uncontrollable epilepsy. Many tears and thousands of dollars later he had to be pts at SASH. The family has an approx 10 yo daughter and can offer a loving home. The plan is to eventually have 2 pugs, either 2 adults or add a pup (from a good breeder) after a rescue has settled in. Anyone know of any pugs in rescue atm or maybe an ex-showie?
