Hello you Problem is that what will make me happy isnt what will make my bank account happy. I am still a part-time working uni-student at the moment. Thankfully I am up to my nose in assignments at the moment, so I wont have time to actually take photos for another 2 weeks anyway.

Any New Meds To Help With Storm Phobias?
gillbear replied to Stitch's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I found with my rotty girl that challenging the fear while doing something she loved worked well. She went from 50kgs of trembling mess trying to sit on my head to within a few storms eagerly looking for a game. Initially I waited till the storm had started to ebb, then on went our coats and off we went for a walk and play in the wind and rain. She was a smart girl, so as soon as a storm looked likely I would put out the coats and she knew something good was coming. She was able to build a good association that outweighed her fear. -
my needs and wants are getting all mixed up. Every time I look at the choices they are all saying "buy me, you know you want too... "

My 50D has developed a shutter problems and is headed off for repairs. But in the meantime I am twiddling my fingers and my thoughts and keyboard is taking me to browse online camera stores. DANGER!!!!! My resolve is weakening with every day. What would you do? New Canon models are expected later this year but I cant wait that long. Would you buy a secondhand camera ?60d or 7D. Go for a cheap online new deal for either of those models or wait for the repair. my camera is used almost exclusively for rescue photos so I really dont want to wait and have been thinking about the 7d for better photos in low light.

Just saw an advert for this group online offering to take in private surrenders including found animals for rehoming. Has anyone heard of them?

I dont think mn's reply to the article will help her cause. She is trying to distance pound rounds from the protesters, that wont go down well with her supporters that turned up.

Me too Mita, all of those smiling faces are addictive. :) -
I took in a hydrocephalus pup as part of a litter. Poor pup became violently ill if she needed to go in the car for even the shortest trip, so travelling for any type of treatment was out. She started deteriorating at about 8 weeks and was pts.

Yes! Thankyou, that's a perfect succinct way to put it rather than my long winded explanations! No worries, sometimes you have to dumb it down a bit for people to grasp the concept.
