  1. Cricky, we are good girls. I know many who drink a wine with dinner every night.
  2. Labradors rock and roll!!!. Sorry cannot help myself tonight.
  3. This Saturday I am taking my first obedience class, as in instructor. I pray, I make it fun!!!!. I will remember to praise the owners too, hopefully.
  4. Hey that's not fair. Actually it is!!! he he. I blame my husband for my dog life. He wanted a labrador when we were ready for a dog. I wanted to rescue. A boring labrador I screamed. That was 15 years ago. Again great job MJ and Jade. On the radio. Did you sleep last night worrying?
  5. Thank goodness. I was getting a bit 'over' this "earn your rewards" thing. Mind you Erny, As we only fill our wine glasses to a very low level, purely for medicinal/social purposes, is why we have to open the fridge so often. It was funny when the door fell off!!!! Damm fridge is nearly new too. What a hoot.
  6. Lab and poodle, You had me scared for a moment, I thought you were going to suggest yet another book or video. My husband would not be happy. He banned me months ago from buying any more books or videos. Lucky he knows "no" means nothing to me. Erny, BTW the fridge repairer is arriving tomorrow. Our wine will be easier to access again. Yipee.
  7. http://www.fleming-plumb.com/videos.html Seems as she focuses on tracking and basic obedience.
  8. Sorry CC. Never heard of her. But as you have me pondering now, I will look her up on the net.
  9. Again thanks all. I have ordered the two books available through dogwise. And the tape LOL. Hopefully I can squeeze them into the rather large "dog" cupboard which is dedicated to video tapes, books and misc articles.
  10. Yeah, MJ & Jade!!!!!!!!!!! Radio stars!!!!!!!!! Woo hoo. WELL DONE GIRLS!!!! Very sound nerves indeed and excellent drive!!!
  11. Caninecoach, I was going to order both of her books - Schutzhund and Purely Positive training (and the tape). Thanks for your offer!!!!. I am pausing now, LOL, currently filling in my details on the dogwise site. Do you wish the book returned CC?
  12. Julie, not to worry. Hopefully I can travel up with you guys at your next workshop I will pick up some of Pat's cookies myself. LOL. PS Please do not clash with a retrieving trial weekend or the future US seminar!!!
  13. booktopia, you type. O, OK, I will have a look see. Edited: Checked the site out, thanks. Dogwise is still the winning site!!!
  14. I am so excited. Dogwise has my required books very cheap. The cheaper version I am sure is not a hard cover, but who cares. I won, I won, I won. My husband will be so proud of me saving some money (for a change). LOL. Thanks again everyone.
  15. Thanks. Scarlet, dog related books. Specifically one book at this time. One by Sheila Booth. I have been checking my normal overseas bookstores and a used copy is US $90.00. Naturally, I seem to require the most expensive dog books, LOL.
  16. I wish to purchase a couple of books, and rather than order from overseas - (due to my interest most my required books can only be purchased overseas), but I thought I would try to locally first. Could some kind person add relevant links? Thanks.
  17. Some of the most "bomb proof" dogs I have come across, ie um...... show lines. Like a childs first suitable pony or horse. The word lazy comes to mind. Like a quiet type of horse, they had no go and in the dogs case little drive. I like good nerves and good drive.
  18. BTW Stamps thyroid tests came back as normal, just in case anyone was wondering.
  19. I am not surprised to read everyone had a great time. Julie and Andrew are fantastic and the rest of the attendees who I have had the pleasure to meet are great. NSW travellers also seem keen - gooooooooooood. Apparently MJ is going on the local radio station tomorrow. I will remember to tune in!!!!!!!!!! Great newspaper article too. I thought about you guys alot over the weekend. Thanks for the check in telephone call Saturday night. What a brilliant group of dedicated selfless people you are!!!!!!!!! Where are my Pat cookies BTW???????
  20. Lackland is one of the largest US breeding/training establishments. I was under the impression most of their stock was from their own breeding establishment, but it seems they still purchase from time to time. Some may be interested in this link: http://dodmwd.lackland.af.mil/vendor_sow_section8.htm
  21. Stamp remains great with all other dogs. He is kept separated from Yo. His T4 is at the low end of normal. 5.1 (normal 5.5 to 25). Not diagnostic until the other blood results come through. Keeping the two of them apart is no big deal yet, as they sleep when not being trained and the younger two are crated anyway.
  22. Depressed? Lost ANY will to be excitable? WOW!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, the Melbourne seminar is for 2 days: $800.00
  23. I am not happy with Stamp lately. He has had aggression issues with Yo (aka Ozzie) the latest male to join the pack. Only Yo mind you, with other dogs he remains fine. Not happy at all, I actually cried after the latest incident. Sorry to go off topic guys!!!!
