  1. We bought a bag of microfibre towels which we use on Scottie - Don't know that I'd bother with a whole bag for him (not that I have tried the product
  2. No worries PC - I literally copied a list of weeks from google. Other than that the thread can look after itself.
  3. Yup. Come on @Gruf I know you've got it in you - I've seen your recent photos
  4. Not used them. Interesting concept I suppose.
  5. Apparently normal but on the large size He is feeling better - so thanks
  6. Up and down all night - who really knows why. Could have been a lack of drugs, could have been an off tum. I gave in and left the back door open for him. He's now up this morning and full of attitude! Has already given the new toy what for! Just off for his walk now. I await the poo report.
  7. Thanks Mackie, It could have been breakfast I suppose (which was a can/wety food ). I almost always use drontal & give when ever - like when I walk back in from the shop with it so I was surprised when he chucked. Anyhow, he seems OK but I am worried he didn't get his usual drugs into his system. We could be in for a "wandery" night. Will just keep an eye on him.
  8. ***I talk about inspecting vomit for worms** **Don't read if you think that's gross*** Did a quick google & search here. Didn't see anything particularly helpful. Wormed Scottie with Drontal tabs today at approx 2pm. Gave him a dose for 10-15 kilos as hes weighing in at 11.5 at the moment. Fed and gave usual meds at between approx 4pm and 5pm (usual meds first then dinner after this walk so at least 30 minutes later). Didn't poo on his evening walk. Some time in the last 40 minutes (between 7pm and 7.40pm) he's taken a huge vomit (inside - door was shut as it was raining - urgh). Don't think he's eaten anything out of the ordinary today. He's been otherwise normal. It was a pretty big vomit and quite... well digested... It certainly didn't look how I would have expected mince which had been eaten in the last 3 hours to look. I tired looking for worms but couldn't really tell what I was looking at - could have been gristle from his mince? Could it have been a worm mass? I'm not too worried about him, but wondering if I should re-worm at some stage his week? And if so - with Drontal or with something else?
  9. Perse, I'm seriously lost for words!
  10. Aunty PK - You're just an enabler. ;) I was going to try to get some video but the neighbour is mowing and its noisy. LOL Well, this is true. And it was cheap. And I do have a 'knack' for knowing 'xactly what kind he likes.
  11. Week 3: A new toy (cause he needed it like a hole in the head).
  12. We call Scottie our "Tiny little trip hazard" and we're far from elderly!
  13. Scottie often takes his bowl outside to eat. & Karen - my last girl was a bit like that - we had to buy her a kennel with a removalble lid because she'd steal all the things and hide them in there.
  14. Awesome & yes - They would be a good size for an oldie. Hopefully no accidental tripping over him
  15. Send me a pm if you want me to ask dad
  16. Great shots everyone. Thanks Denali - I've become very fond of the local duckies. We have a lot around campus at work and this mob who hang out at one of our fave parks. They're lovely birds to watch.
  17. Not nice at all. I wont be supporting the film (but to be fair, I probably wouldn't have seen it anyhow).
  18. My dad is. He might be able to help.
  19. You could try K9-pro. It would probably be the best spot for him. But I believe they're almost akways full.
  20. Id be boarding him or having a sitter come. You can't rely on him "knowing not to leave" for lots of reasons. What if, after youve been gone 2 weeks he 'went looking for you' & got hit by a car or taken to the pound? You'll be on a different time zone too - so not always easy to contact.
  21. Depends on where you live but I'd budget about $60 a groom.
  22. Oh..they're cute but don't look comfy
