Some vets will give human prescriptions for drugs with a human equivalent. They are generally much cheaper at a chemist. Sent from my GT-P7500 using Tapatalk

Still giving 1 human refrigerated Inner Health plus capsule and a tablespoon of Jalna or Brooklea yoghurt a day and ear cleanings are down to 1 a week and could possibly do it less frequently. Sent from my GT-P7500 using Tapatalk -

Another visit to Mt Coot-Tha yesterday morning, there are so many tracks to walk I could do a different one every weekend for months. Somebody did this on the path We walked the Eugenia Circuit The Simpson Falls picnic area

I am turning into quite the dobber, I phoned the council a month or so back about a woman that refused to put her dog on a lead and was abusive when I asked her to do so. I know they did something because the ranger phoned me for a time and a area. I also phoned the Brisbane council this afternoon to report all the people walking dogs of lead at Mt Coot Tha. I actually don't like doing it but I don't see why I should walk in terror of dogs rushing up to me.

I would have been in trouble for kicking the dog and the owner if that happened to me. I never walk the dogs in the street because of that kind of thing. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I had a idiot last weekend tell me I mustn't train my dogs to be vicious needless to say he copped a mouthful. It's good to know I am not the only one with these issues, I was starting to feel like I was crazy. Sent from my GT-P7500 using Tapatalk

I went for a hike on MT Cootha with Jonah this morning and all the literature and signage is pretty clear that all dogs must be on a leash. As Jonah turns into Cujo if dogs run up to him its a big deal in my life. However based on my encounters this morning most people must be illiterate,or speshull. The 1st one I had words with asked me if I wanted her to put her dog on a lead while she overtook me "even though it is a park" So I had to explain to her that she should do some reading and she would discover that its a requirement. I did try to be pleasant but I don't think that I was successful. My next encounter I had my camera running and I had a small sense of humor failure when her dog ran right up to us with no reaction from her at all till I asked her to remove her dog. I suspect that she knew that she was in the wrong as there were no arguments. I go to great lengths to make sure my dog isn't bothering anyone else but it seems that most people don't share the same feelings and its driving me crazy.

The Difference Between Cats And Dogs
Canisbellum replied to Kirislin's topic in General Dog Discussion
Lol. Jonah was staring at the screen and left the room whimpering while I was watching that, now he is searching the room for the puppy :) -
Jonah the 1st time he was able to run around at the river. I joined 10m or so of rope to a 10m long line as he had zero recall then.
-
Jonah and Askari were hooning around and Askari pretty much shoulder charged Jonah into the wooden fence making a very loud noise and shaking the fence. Jonah didn't even twitch and the hooning continued. Askari on the other hand is a sook and will screech and yelp he nearly knocked himself out at the dog bark by running full tilt into a concrete bench removing both eye brows and the screeching was hideous.

Exercising Reactive Dogs Thread
Canisbellum replied to megan_'s topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Jonah has had a bit of a break through he let a stranger pet him at obedience on Sunday and he had a sniff and greet with a strange dog this morning while on lead on our walk and he even let the owner pet him for a little bit while he was sniffing her. No growling, nipping or dominant behavior and no jumping away when the woman stuck her hand out to pat him. I can now see a definite bit of light at the end of the tunnel. -
Playing in the front yard

I need to get some new glasses most of those look perfectly in focus to me :) Heard a commotion in the front yard a few minutes ago and grabbed the camera and ran to see the tail end of some hooliganism. so it was literally point and shoot and hold the button down with a long lens in a small yard :) This is probably my favourite 1/500 F4.0 ISO400 Askari is too blurry in this one, even I can see that :) 1/640 F4.0 ISO400 And I cut his back off in this one and Jonah is blurry :). 1/640 F4.0 ISO400 This one I also really like. Just stuck it in Landscape mode to turn the flash off before he moved. 1/60 F5.6 ISO800
