  1. Teekay I do take them with me as often as I can but most of the photos are taken on their walks.
  2. He was out for a water break, it's a slow process I let him walk on lead for 10 minutes or so and then it's into the buggy so Jesse can get a good run around
  3. Ranga I like that gate and PErsephone your Iphone photo is pretty cool. I got a few good ones this morning so I am going to cheat, again :) Week 12 Pitstop
  4. Nobody is getting their exercise. I am getting fat Jesse is depressed and digging holes and Jonah is frustrated so I modified a kids trailer so we can still go for walks without hurting Jonahs leg.
  5. Once again I have a few taken on another trip. 10/52 Outback Flamingo's Not really
  6. Ozstar I really like that Bee Eater photo and Gapvic even I like the dress and the whimsical feel in those photos. Helen nice shot of Tilly on the rock
  7. Driving down the road between Marvel Loch and Southern Cross i saw this. A mob of Sheep are stirring up the dust 10/52
  8. Jonah doesn't get on beds or furniture is on the lean side and gets 1 to 2 hours of off lead exercise a day with lots of running in the bush on weekends. He goods a good quality diet with lots of joint supplements. Went to work 1 day and he was fine. Came home in the evening and he had a torn cruciate.
  9. Thanks for the input, I was looking at one of those braces may rethink it now. Found out the vets today that the X rays of his knee look perfectly normal they diagnosed it from laxity in his knee. Vet was also surprised he is not lame, limping or stiff, makes me even more convinced he will improve without surgery
  10. Thanks I get to see a bit of the country side with this job
  11. Stuck out in the back of beyond for a day or 2. So here's my contribution a bit early. Snapped with my S5 9/52 Sunrise in the pit
  12. I live in kalgoorlie which has zero facilitys no hydrotherapy dog physios etc. The surgery itself would have to be performed in Perth or other big city and I work long hours travel a lot for work and am trying to get the finances and time for cancer treatment for myself. All in all pretty much almost the worst case situation. Jonah is now on Myloxicam and Cartrophan injections and if I didnt tell you what was wrong you would think he was in perfect health. I am restricting his running and jumping as much as possible to his disgust and only short walks on lead. Being a Shar Pei he is almost impervious to pain. He is lean and fit from lots of running in the bush with muscular legs. I am going to to give him 6 weeks or so to see if there is any improvement if not I will sort surgery out somehow. This is him approx 3 weeks ago
  13. Jonah has torn his Right rear cruciate ligament. The vets are pushing surgery but I am not keen, has anyone had a dog recover from this without surgery?
  14. Lots of good pics up too many too mention after a Bourbon or two 8/52 Once again a few to choose from so I am going to cheat Took this alongside the road between Leonora and Laverton luckily there wasn't anybody within a 100km when I stood on the brakes. This was at Station Creek outside Leonora the following day
  15. 15 cm laceration on a finger? That woman has fingers as long as some people's forearms.
  16. This will have to do for now till I get home and can see what I have and tweak them Dampier sunset 7/52
  17. I do think there is a lot of junk food out there but like with anything some people go to extremes. I don't feed raw mainly due to time limitations and due to assorted Shar Pei issues Jonah has to have minimal grains. I feed Blackhawk which while not grain free has minimal grains and I alternate Sardines and Frozen vegetables with their kibble and yoghurt. Supplements due to joint and skin issues are Rosehip, coconut oil and yu move. His once patchy coat is now full, he doesn't require weekly Malaseb washes anymore and hasn't had an ear infection in about a year. Is it over the top? Maybe so but it seems to be working
  18. I am going to Northern WA for work so expect some different things
