I am going to be spending 2 months in Perth with my dogs possibly around Rockingham any recommendations of quiet off leash parks and beaches.

I am going through this same experience at the moment in Perth and the cost of dog friendly accomodation is absolutely insane.

Dogs can smell they don't need to see very well and he clearly sees well enough to chase the sheep so I wouldn't rely on him being nearly blind.

You could always just teach him that chasing sheep is bad. I suggest you contact Steve Courtney at K9pro and discuss this with him. I have a Shar Pei with insane prey drive but I am slowly getting control over it.

As part of my training program from Steve Courtney there is a program entitled "The Behaviour Interuptor" I wont go into detail as its his livelihood but I belatedly started implementing it yesterday and after less than an hour with Jonah and Jesse all I can say is wow. They were both on lead and very interested in a boxer on the other side of the road and I employed it and was nearly run over as they both instantly spun around to pay attention to me. Still early days but I see great potential

I got these made recently, they are hand braided from 550 Paracord and can be made in a huge variety of colours and different patterns. They even have a some shock absorption because of the way they are made. I have a 10m Syntek one and a 5m Gripperz both from K9Pro. I used the 10m when i 1st got Jonah and he had zero recall and it is a bit of a pain keeping track of it but nowadays I only use the 5m one and mainly where dogs have to be on lead but there is freedom like beaches etc.

Just a FYI I have been using normal human Inner Health Plus with good results. May make it a bit easier on the travel plans

That is no dog bite, they leave deep puncture wounds and rip chunks out. That is sliced down to her neck and though she claims the dog had a chunk of cheek in its mouth there is no bits missing from her place or a chunk stitched back in. And as has been said there is no bruising, as for her arm when was the last time a dog jumped up and bit you under the arm. In a dog attack the wounds would be to the hands or forearms as she tried to defend herself. Complete and utter lies

Get an app called wiki camps, it has accomodation and reviews and maps etc. It's what I used and still use to find accomodation.

I did a 5 day trip with Jonah sleeping in my boat at night. He had his harness on and was secured. I stopped every 2 h and let him out on a long line and gave him water at the same time. He was fine slept pretty much the whole time

Sounds like your dog is an appliance to you. You entered into an agreement and took advantage of the reduced price. Now it sounds like because it isn't written down and doesn't suit you any more you want to weasel out of it? Maybe do as has been suggested and sit down with them and discuss terms and treatment of the dog that suits you both
