  1. Thanks I try to give them a decent life. I tried out a Go Pro Fetch harness and my action cam yesterday. Lets just say it was less than successful
  2. Thanks, it's 30 minutes past breakfast time and they are both still sleeping so they got a good workout yesterday Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  3. Update from whoop whoop now that we are back. I have taken to riding a bicycle (slowly)through the bush and the dogs have to run a lot to keep up. I make sure to stop often and give lots of water and they seem to love it. Anytime Jonah lays down by himself or without a fight you know he is pooped
  4. I did get Jonah boots but found they take the skin off the tops of his toes even with socks, so gave up on the.
  5. That describes Jonah, he adapted and runs all over the bush in places he wouldnt go when we 1st got here
  6. Jonah arrived in the outback with beach feet and took about 6 months to get used to the rocky dirt and how to avoid the thorny plants. Been 2 years now and he is ok, they get thorns in there feet and I pull them out or sometimes if I am too slow they chew them out Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  7. Interesting if scary read this. I have chased off a few dogs just by being loud and aggressive but clearly they were not very serious. Have tried using the brass end of the lead but that has absolutely no effect. Also broke a bone in my hand on a Staffies head last year that was chomping on Jonah so that isn't recommended, the biggest problem when a dog comes in like that is trying to keep Jonah under control so I can deal with it as he goes full Cujo in an effort to chase it away and defend himself. I always have a knife in my pocket which I will use if I have to and take a walking stick with most days when walking near home but the best defense is walking them on streets with no dogs or in the bush on the outskirts of town where I am very unlikely to encounter other people and dogs.
  8. Unfortunately the Crow didn't steal the dog and it's long gone. Bit of a shock that, I never even thought about Crows taking dogs. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  9. Jesse gets a bath maybe twice a year and Jonah every 8 weeks or so. His Horsecoat is wonderfull at holding onto dirt. I clean his ears at least once a week and i haven't ever needed to cut their nails. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  10. Yep, the dogs are loving it Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  11. The last of my Perth pics, back home now. A spectacular sunrise The resident Corella flock The running of the birds
  12. I saw a IG puppy for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago and what a delightful little dog it was, I was amazed at how small and delicate it was at 16 weeks. It was larger than Secret so she must really be tiny and delicate.
  13. Kalgoorlie vets are saying yearly vaccinations are required "because it gives extra protection from parvo" Had a few arguments with sheeple and then gave up. I Titre test yearly purely for the kennel as my dogs spend a fair bit of time there. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk

  16. We went too Bells Rapids on Easter Monday, would be interesting in winter with lots more water Jonah trying to figure out what this is one morning Jesse chasing a ball at the dog park Jonah encountered a IG puppy, that photo would have been impossible for the 1st year I had him.
  17. I am canisbellum, Jonah and Jesse have their own Facebook pages but not their own instagram page. I may do something about that one day
  18. Jonah has a heating pad in his kennel for the day and gets a coat and blanket at night (indoors) and on our early morning walks. He also needs his food quantity doubled to maintain his weight.
  19. Some more beach fun Im outa here Shit, another hole Did some sightseeing yesterday Elizabeth Quay
  20. Jesse is able to detect the exact moment I start patting Jonah from anywhere in the back yard and we are inside. Both of them can hear a cheese wrapper from at least a km
  21. After some fiddling around I worked out that the fuzzy images were due to my new lense being defective. Luckily the Tamron repair agents are in Perth so I had it fixed. Getting some crisp images now
