  1. You can always have a play if you are around when I am passing by :)
  2. Thanks, I am that Canon lens in particular is a gem it focuses like lightning and on anything. I have a series of 6 or 7 pics of a gull flying past me pretty quickly maybe 20m away against a overcast sky and every picture is in focus and razor sharp. None of my other lenses can touch that.
  3. We were in Perth again for a few days Beach Belle Whats that?
  4. Tamron 150 to 600 @ 600mm ISO1600 F9.0 1/500 sec wind was blowing a lot Canon 70-200 @200mm ISO100 F3.5 1/1600 sec Canon 70-200 @200mm ISO1600 F5.6 1/60th sec

  6. 1st Drone flight. South Fremantle Dog Beach
  7. Oh did I mention that the sole purpose of my visit to Perth was to buy a camping trailer. My mission was a success and I tow the beast home tomorrow. Just realised it cost more than my ute
  8. I did it again, some more bargains at JB Hi Fi this time. Acer laptop for editing photos and videos on the road and a Nexus 9 tablet for my drone controller. Driving home tomorrow thank God, so no more temptation
  9. Roova it does, plus a whole slew of other capabilities. I will only be able to put it through its paces back in Kal but I flew it a bit yesterday and it's awesome. Luckily I bought a monopole as well because that Tamron gives camera shake a whole new meaning. Lots of toys to play with next week.
  10. Got rid of the Guinea pigs, problem solved
  11. It has its own 12mp 4k camera on a gimbal Kirislin. Tdieriks I need the 150-600 lens for the Melbourne F1 next year and the drone for footage of my Cape York trip. That's my justification and I am using it to drown out the voice in my head screaming that I am insane.Of course I then needed a serious bag to carry all that. ;)
  12. I went into a Camera House and came out a bit poorer
  13. Todays pics with my fantastic Canon lens
  14. Peekaboo, there are beasties if you look carefully
  15. 1st pics I am already impressed, it focuses like lightning and its quiet The wind was blowing so I had to use a fast shutter speed to get these
  16. I have been a bit slack with the camera the last while but I did some editing today Canon 70D with Tamron 24-70 F2.8 From Coolgardie day a few weeks ago Today
  17. Its in the postal system but I will
  18. I was looking at the Tamron version but all the reviews said this is much better, I managed to find a good 2nd hand one with a carry case for nearly $1000 less than retail. Tempted by this as well, The 100-400
