Well the stolen Blue Staffordshire post turned out to be fake to get everyone burning. How pathetic can some people be!? I hope karma comes back at them ...

My Petstock finally has the grain free range in both cat and dog. Plus the tins. I didn't know BH now do a seafood dry cat? So I grabbed a fish for the cats, as I'm broke this week and that was cheaper. I did grab a bag of grain free to test out on the dogs too.

Not idea if this is related but three out of four dogs here have been on this food and recently someone [i suspect either the young Lab or Pointer] has had the runs. Fed nothing else that they don't normally get. Needed more dry today so I opted to get another Brand.

Within my own pack and with my parents dog I allow growling, snapping and mini disagreements. Ivy is always telling the other dogs off. Though out in public it rarely happens unless the other dog starts it but I don't allow it. I don't tell her off, I just take her away.

It had been opened too but in a Tupoerware cheese containter. Wish I hadn't thrown it now.

Ended up throwing it out. Probably would have been ok, even for the dogs. It was Nimbin Vintage. No idea where my head was when I put it in the pantry ...

Would having it out of the fridge make it bad for them though?

So I had a brain fart and put a brand new block of cheese in the cheese container on Monday then some how managed to put the cheese container BACK in to the pantry Only now have I discovered my stupid error. I am going to throw away said cheese as it won't be safe for humans but would it be OK for the dogs to have a bit grated on their dinner? Or not worth the risk?

Just sharing what I was told recently. That is all. I have no opinion on it myself.

I learnt something about RR recently; in terms of humans though. Rescue Remedy is made up of flowers [in general] found/grown in Britain. As per Wiki Edward Bach was a British physician, homeopath, bacteriologist and spiritual writer, best known for developing a range of remedies called the Bach flower remedies, a form of alternative medicine inspired by classical homeopathic traditions So RR isn't as effective on Australians etc. Anyone else heard this?

Not helpful and I know someone else will help but I personally don't worm or flea treat unless I have a reason to. I take on everything I vet tells me with a grain of salt. And I always research it myself. In your case, I would be switching vets! And maybe having him allergy tested? All the best with Archie.

We live with a pack of four dogs. The bitches are Ivy [6] and Tinker [unknown but guess 5] The dogs are Badger [4] and Zeke [14] We have baby gates up so the dogs are just in the main living area and kitchen. We are professional baby gate jumpers here! In the morning while I have coffee and chill at the laptop I let the dogs back in till breakfast time. They get all excited about being allowed back in after a morning pee. After a few minutes they relax and go back to sleep. All good till I want another coffee or have to get up for any reason. The boys are on their couch sleeping and hardly move, unless they know food is involved. Even if I get up, they don't shift a bone. The girls are another story! I shift my leg and Tinker jumps up, tail smacking the floor. She's always laying on the floor behind my desk. Ivy is also on the floor in front of my desk. She will come over for random cuddles and kisses to make sure of something Paws up on the chair making me spin around. Yup, the boys are still on their couch asleep. Badger might raise his head.

PM me if you want and I can let you know how I feed it. Things started to improve once I fed it correctly.

Update on Miss Ivory. I learnt from a very detailed Facebook page [though I am no longer on FB for personal reasons] the correct way to feed Turmeric and since doing so, the remaining lump that wasn't taken out from surgery has shrunk considerably. It is also less condensed in the way it feels. She also wears a Wolfpack backpack and she absolutely loves coming out to work. So all four dogs get the special Turmeric mix added to their breakfast every morning!

I did something similar recently for Ivy who has major surgery. I put t-shirts on her, which were skin tight and cut sections so she still had full movement of her head and shoulders but she wouldn't touch the wound. They also helped to keep her relaxed during a difficult recovery. Her head went through the head section and her two front legs went through the arm holes.

WOW!!!! WOW!!!! what a wonderful update. Loving those photos a whole heap. Thank you both! She loves her backpack and feeling like she has a job to do. Just waiting on my stash of poo bags to arrive, so we always have a few on board! My cat scratched the bottom of my foot yesterday, so we haven't been out for a walk with it yet But yesterday she happily ran around the house and went in to a sit with it on.

From my Belgian Shepherd Facebook page ... Just a quick update, I have contacted the pound and he is now safe, they cannot release him until his fourteen days are up. If no one claims him I will be allowed to being him home after that. Will be going to visit him tonight at feeding time.

I cancelled my order of Mushers and the company was totally cool about it. I checked their refund policy before asking and they ask that you refund anything you're not happy with buying. Bonus! So I'm re-thinking my ideas. I can picture what you're saying WSM. Though I think I will just get her a set of boots but measure her correctly. I did watch the Ruffs video on how to measure paws.

Glad to hear Bindi is feeling good this morning. I will keep checking today to see if she's had the poo What a silly woman going around feeding other peoples dogs without asking

Bought a different brand, from a health store and so far I'm finding it easier to scrape out.
