Gorgeous. May I ask where Ess is these days? -
As for slow feeder bowls, they work for my greedy Labrador. I would be feeding the puppy in the crate with a slow feeder bowl and only allowing him out when Izzy has finished.

That's really cute. Love the pink hehehe

Marine Ply in the middle, because we had a huge sheet of it in the carport. The frame is a cheaper timber that I can't remember the name of. We sandwiched the marine ply between two frames, so both sides are the same.

Amazingly they are really respectful of being in the house. So those decals would stand up to them!

This is the gate pre-paint

We used to use two older baby gates to keep the dogs in one section of the house but they were marking the walls and hubby kept tripping over them. So we [well he] made two new half stable doors. They only open one way and are the perfect height so the dogs can see over and the cats can jump them. This one is painted in a high gloss so dog drool etc can be cleaned off. They make such a different to the look of the house too. I was thinking of getting a stencil or something and adding a touch of colour to the middle section. Any ideas? **Please ignore the filthy, patchy walls. We haven't painted in that area yet. ** It is latched by a sliding bolt so it is quick and simple to walk through them.

We used to have these for the dogs BUT Ivy likes to wee while she's standing in water ....

Our Labrador [from ACA Pups of all places] is nearly 14 and ten months. He is in extremely great condition for an old Labrador.

I always try to connect with Ivy through my thoughts but it doesn't work. But maybe it just doesn't work when you "try"?

My link Thursday, October 16, 2014 12:11PM INDIANAPOLIS -- Many people are allergic to animals, but a shelter in the Midwest is trying to help a dog that is allergic to people. Robin Herman says she took in Adam, a black Lab, at her dog rescue in Indianapolis back in June. Herman fed Adam top-of-the-line food, got rid of fleas and slowly nursed him to better health. When he wasn't getting as healthy as she'd hoped, she brought him in to the vet. Blood tests revealed Adam is allergic to human dander, much like how people react to pet dander. "The vet seems to think that we can fix him. They just put a serum together, just like with kids' allergies and other dogs' allergies, and he starts on allergy shots this week," Herman said. Herman says Adam is a smart, affectionate dog, just like any other puppy. She says she will keep raising money for his treatment and won't stop until he is better.

Are you keeping any!? -
We moved their new couch in to their room last night, I set it all up and had to put non skid matting under the couch feet too. Let the dogs in and Badger was in HEAVEN!!!! Just so you know I don't make Badger sleep on the floor curled up in a cat bad all the time ... Sorry for the dodgy pics. Low light. What you Lookin At!?

Chicken fat is a cheaper way to add fat to a dry food and it is still chicken, some dogs/cats can't eat chicken. The food will be labelled as Duck and Lamb. Ohhh no chicken!! You don't realise there actually IS chicken in the food, feed to a chicken sensitive dog/cat and they end up with a sore tummy from the chicken fat.
-
I should do this for Badger, he often wakes up with mucky eyes.

Same as all the others on the market that say they are grain free. Potato is far too high for my liking.
-
Me too! Keep them coming!

Never had mine notice clothing but they are outside a lot. They know when someone other than us two pull up in the driveway. They have no view to the front yard. Teally makes me respect how amazing dogs are!
-
Well, yes he can! It is really hot here today so I've allowed the dogs inside where it is cooler. But have taken their couch outside as we have a bulk rubbish collection and they are getting our old couch. But not till this evening. So I just threw the soft round cat beds on the ground for now. Badger seems to think that that is good enough for him to take a nap on!
