  1. Try another dry food. And remove his food if he won't eat till the following night or morning and offer a fresh meal. Only leaving it down for ten or so minutes. Dogs won't starve themselves and he'll quickly learn to eat whatever is offered. I did this with my Belgian and she now eats anything.
  2. Does anyone elses dog wag their tail on command? Ivy does and I didn't really teach her, she just learnt herself and I reinforced it. She won't do a full on wag, just a mild one but she does it when I ask her to!
  3. Mine wouldn't eat deer antler but will eat goat horn.
  4. I have ordered from them in the past too. Communication was excellent. I made a point to NOT buy anything around this time of the year as I know people are so busy.
  5. Ezy Walk Harness I've used this in the past and really loved it. Doesn't go under their armpits either and had no rubbing on a long or short coat dog.
  6. Same here! Mainly scratching the brand new leather lounge
  7. My partner just complains about how bitchy Ivy is  I am pretty much in control over the dogs, he has no say in what they eat etc.

  9. I don't go near the place anymore. Used to volunteer there when it first opened up.
  10. Good old purple spray they sell for horse wounds! Works a treat for hot spots. Apply every day for about a week and they go poof! Our younger Lab had some nasty, stinky, itchy hot spots a few months ago. Shaved area, washed in salt water and kept the area covered in purple spray. Cetrigen
  11. Most brands have about 18 months from date of manufacture.
  12. My lot shared a mango with me the other day. They all had a try at nibbling the fleshy seed as I held it  Ivy seemed to be the best at realizing she couldn't take it from me and nibbled off some flesh. And they LOVED the flesh I gave them too. Raw broccoli stem is also a fave here. eta - The buggers always find the almond shells that the Eclectus tend to throw out of their cage too.
  13. Ocean Keys Vet Clinic in Clarkson.

  17. I have a share in a Black Russian gal of beautiful Austrian lines. When she was imported , she did her quarantine in Sydney. I used to visit her & totally fell for her. I can go ages & not see her. But when we meet, she rolls onto ther back for tummy tickles :) Oh wow you're so lucky! Do you still see her? I'd love to meet one in person! Stubborn; I think I can deal with after having a Groenendael :D Ivy can be a turd at times.
  18. Russian Black or Giant Schnauzer [black]. Because I absolutely adore black dogs and have a thing for unusual coated breeds. Have met two Giant Schnauzers and swoon.
