Is this a real breed? There is someone apparently breeding them in Perth.

Our 15 year old Lab does it big time. And he's deaf, so no point yelling at him to stop. Never used to, just in the last year he started. Though he's on a quick down spiral and I don't think he will be around too much longer.

Just thought I'd update Ivys progress ... all going very well *touch wood* She's been on Meals for Mutts dry with raw etc and turmeric/black pepper/oil every morning on her breakfast. We did stay on Ziwi Peak for awhile but it wasn't easy to buy so I switched her to MfM and we're happy with it. I did find a good source of organic turmeric with 5% curicum. No changes to her lump that couldn't be removed on June 24th 2014. And no new growths!!

Could he have hot spots? My Lab stunk when she had hot spots that we didn't realise she had, due to her thick coat. The smell cleared when we cleared up her hot spots.

I use turmeric with 5% curcumin, fresh cracked black pepper and oil for my Belgian Shepherd who has fatty cysts. Since starting it 18 months ago, her current lump hasn't changed (vet couldn't remove it) and no more have grown *touch wood* I do this every morning for her.

English Pointer? My boy has been around cats, kittens, quail, chooks, rats and mice. He always just wants to lick them with love. They absolutely adore being an inside dog and will murder you with puppy eyes till you let them in. Minimal grooming too, mainly just a random bath or play at the ocean. The freeze dried one? I use the lamb and/or green tripe quite a lot. You only use a small amount each feed; I do anyway.

Is it dog friendly?

YES!!!!

Experienced both types. Badger LOVES food.

I do it and it works just fine. IMO it is a statement made by raw food manufactures to "scare" people in to not feeding dry food. It would be too expensive for me to feed my four 100% raw; expensive as in I'd have to buy A LOT each time I went to the butcher or I would be going every couple of days.
