For what it is worth I truly don't think Lilli intended offence, though I have no doubt she achieved it.

Lilli - I think it is relevant to recognise that, from my readings of your posts over the years, you have a very different understanding and acceptance of "normal dog behaviour" than most other dog owners (including myself) have. Not many people, in my experience, are okay living with a dog that has killed another dog, let alone another dog they own. I know I'm not.

I can take one or two puppies if they can get to me Steve. Would need to be two puppies who can be crated together overnight and who can run with my Fauves & JRT OR a female who is happy to run on her own. Not ideal but would be suitable for short-term and happy to help. I will be donating on payday.

If you go, and they have a neuter class, could you help my teenage daughter show her cavalier? She has been to shows a couple of times with me but when Archie was exhibited we showed him. She lives in Red Cliffs ETA - can anyone tell me if there is a neuter class?

Sorry guys was out all day with family for Easter but sadly not good news for us. We've had a terrible week here and were really hoping for a positive to counter the bad week but it wasn't to be. Now we wait until August (ish) to try again.

Took this picture tonight which shows the boobies she has developed - looks like a positive sign to me..... What do you think? These are the boobs I've been able to feel but which don't show so well when I lay her on her back.

So nervous and so excited for tomorrow. I'm oscillating between thinking "yes she is" and "no she's not" but today she jumped up on the gate to the dog run and I thought OMG she looks pregnant as she appeared to have lost her normal waist. Hope I'm right - we've had a really, really crappy week and need good news tomorrow.

Aww poor little baby - she was a lot smaller though wasn't she? With Denim's litter the first pup was a very small black & white girl and she just didn't have the strength of the others - it was heartbreaking and I can only imagine it is much worse when it is a planned litter like this. Hugs to Blair - I bet he was upset.

Week 4 photos not that you can see much difference If you look at the last 2 nipples you can see more swelling around them and that is where I can obviously feel it. When I compare the photos though I'm not as convinced as I was when I first got home so we will just have to wait until Saturday to be sure.

Whilst Marie doesn't look bigger her boobs are bigger so if we're not having puppies I'd say we're having a phantom.

Woohoo Piper - so happy for you! Our ultrasound in Saturday. Really looking forward to seeing Marie tomorrow night as we've been away and I haven't seen her since Thursday morning - I'm hoping to notice a difference as she will be 4 weeks from mating tomorrow.
