  1. I will be keeping an eye on here and your FB page for updates. Four pups is just fine, particularly if they're 4 amazing pups!
  2. I live in a multi-pack household where my husband does MOST of the feeding and we share everything else. There are some dogs who love him most, there are some who don't really care as long as it is a human BUT Marie is different. Marie loves me over everyone and everything else - I don't do anything more special with her than I do with any of the others, in fact recently it has been less, but if she could choose one person to be with it is me. Ace loves me like Marie does but that is because I"ve been working really hard at building a bond with him as he was imported so it makes sense to me. Marie's doesn't fit that mould at all. Yep - that is Marie.
  3. Sadly we lost a little boy this morning - no idea what happened - I went to have a shower and he was alive, I came out and he was gone. RIP Dark Blue
  4. No help at all - this is what I've had for the last 5 days
  5. This is one mum who just won't do a whelping box sadly. Tried it with her last litter to no avail - would only settle in a crate. Tried to get her to whelp all day today in the whelping box but instead she peed in it  . She can't stand how open a whelping box is and needs a very enclosed & dark little den. Not my preference for her and pups BUT makes for a relaxed and stress free mum. This litter's theme will be based around "Gift" as this litter has been a very special gift, as Anna was given to us for this litter. :)
  6. Congratulations. Like Brintey's Leo girl - another litter of 8 born ont the 8th of the 8th :) Oh wow I hadn't clicked to that!!!! That is fabulous!
  7. Well my vet can't count!!! 8 pups, 5 boys & 3 girls all weighing between 300gm and 380gm so a hefty Fauve litter. Sadly she needed a c-section as they simply weren't moving along. The vet believes it was inertia from the number & size of the pups but we'll never really know. I'm happy but in shock!!
  8. Its looking like Anna is going to go early today.
  9. Of course she has interest!!! You used to live here didn't you??? I'm sure I remember that from years ago
  10. I was at a friend's house one day and the neighbours went out. The minute their car pulled out of the driveway the dogs started barking. Thirty minutes later I commented to my friend that the dogs barked a lot and she said that they did it all day but didn't make a sound whilst the neighbours were home. I think the letter to the neighbours is a great idea because then they can see that you're addressing it. Those collars sound like a great idea!
  11. My old vets wouldn't sell me Calcium until it was required
  12. Xray today showed 5 pups Now lets pray that there is at least one lovely girl in there!
  13. Because Deniliquin is local to me the news reports more locally are providing a little more information. The recent update at 3.30pm said that the attack on the child went on for approximately 15 minutes. If that is even half true the poor little mite never stood a chance.
  14. I have a friend who got a dog as an adult and she is trying to process a claim. They won't process the claim without getting records from the previous vet but the old owner is not responding to their emails. Any suggestions on what to do from here?
  15. The owner of the dog was a 24 year old man, not the 70 year old woman.

  17. Just heard on the Today Show breaking news that a 2 year old boy was killed yesterday in Deniliquin by a "mastiff x". The dog has, obviously, been put to sleep.
  18. From the outside looking in I just don't see how that is an improvement
  19. I've had to be in Sydney for work for 5 days and came home this morning to this!!! 8-10 days to go and getting very exciting.
