Oh my dog. The smell was horrible! I'm lucky to have kept my lunch down i think.. Dozer did love it though
-
I just picked up a bag of the freeze dried stuff from k9 natural. I'm pretty excited for dinner tonight, not too keen for the smell!
-
I too love Greyhounds! My partner and housemate can't see the appeal but they really are lovely. That and I love the stories about Stan. News.com.au actually did a good news story about greyhounds and the comments have been particularly uplifting among all the doom and gloom about the racing industry.

I didn't, but I do now!

Oh I forgot that the destroyer also has ripped the stuffing out of my armchair, I stuffed it back in, but he occasionally lifts up the arm and pulls it back out if I'm taking too long in the bathroom.

Lucy chewed a playstation controller not long after we got her, we were literally saying 5 minutes prior how great she was with not chewing anything. Dozer on the other hand is nicknamed the destroyer of all things. Cheap sunnies, my prescription glasses, a safety boot, the corners of the patio gate and bbq, numerous dog beds, a wheatpack and the corner of a brand new rug and too many pairs of underwear and socks to count. The boy loves to chew!

I've never seen it in dog, so I'm not much help there. But I've had a blocked and infected saliva duct, it's immensely unpleasant and painful, they suggest eating or drinking very sour products to get the saliva going

Oh goodness! He's so cute and fluffy, i just want to snuggle with him. He looks like he'll be wonderful and warm to cuddle on a cold winter's night..

Kibble For Dog With Sensitive Tummy
Taliecat replied to ActuallyAngela's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
If that's what suits him - that's what suits him  . he continues to do well. We just did the same. The super expensive ivory coat made our boy yeastie, supermarket optimum and he's perfect! -
I read this article earlier this afternoon through QSAR's Facebook page.. Can't believe they posted this article, the dogs look nothing like amstaffs rather more like American bullies.. Which i tend to rather dislike their toad like appearance.. What a real piece of work that breeder is..

I do a bit of a lip curl and a growl when Dozer is being a terror. Works probably 90% of the time when I'm really annoyed. It's got to be a pretty dire situation though, one thought about giggling at him stealing my undies/socks/eating my latest novel and all credibility is gone and the growl does nothing. Edit :damn you autocorrect

Yep. Cried again! I can't do budwiser ads without crying.. And hey, I crochet and I'm only 26!

that Was wonderful and exactly what I needed this morning
-
I ended up being slathered in bug repellant while Dozer had those evil puppy teeth. It seemed to be the only thing that worked

Ivory coat Turkey and duck is a round flat kibble that reminds me of milo cereal. I really like the shape of it.

Oooh I love the pet couch, OH doesn't think Dozer would use it though...

What Food Can Your Dog Not Resist?
Taliecat replied to Loving my Oldies's topic in General Dog Discussion
In medical terms anorexia is loss of appetite, so in a way it all ties in together. Poor little guy. Gosh Danny please eat something -
He was inside with me with the doors closed while the OH did the mowing. Same thing happened last time when it was me mowing and he was on the couch with the OH.. Will try the cotton wool though.

Our boy Dozer seems to be terrified of the lawn mower. Tail between his legs, panting and shaking a bit. Tried getting him to go in his crate with some food to distract him and it's a no go. At the moment I'm ignoring him, but he seems to feel safest when he's either pressed right up against me or he climbs into my lap. What steps can we take to help him feel better next time. Maybe get him set up in his crate with a good chew? Or an adaptil collar or rescue remedy? What steps have you wonderful people used in the past?

Do Your Dogs Stress Your Relationship?
Taliecat replied to Aleksandra 157's topic in General Dog Discussion
Bahahaha, we're a bit of the same. Dozer is the OHs dog, but all dog related decisions defer to me, just because I'm the crazy dog lady that spends hours reading DOL a day. -
Ivory Coat - Does Anyone Feed It?
Taliecat replied to Dave-o's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Just a bit of an update on how we're going with Ivory Coat. Dozer's coat is now starting to get lovely and soft and a couple of weeks on it, so far I'm happy to report that he's not gassy; which is the sole reason we stopped feeding canidae... He loves it, I love it. Hoping that 20kg bulk packs come out soon. -
I wish people would come back to the forums more. I spend way more time here to the point where the OH will see me laughing at something to sigh "dolf" which I quickly correct to "dol"..

The Flatulence Thread Or...
Taliecat replied to Stressmagnet's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Bahahaha. Really O.o? Dozer thinks charcoal bikkies are the best thing on the face of this earth, will do more for one than he will for cheese! -
Oh my dog! Those videos are so adorable!

Ivory Coat - Does Anyone Feed It?
Taliecat replied to Dave-o's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Jules, I think he only hears every 4th word or so before he tunes back out again... Must say I love the size and appearance of the kibble, for some reason it reminds me of the milo cereal... Dozer seems to love it as well, I don't think I've seen him demolish his kibble like that in quite some time! He usually stops to chew at least some of it...
