I recently lost my best mate Poo, an otherwise healthy 14 yo Tenterfield Terrier, to a sudden renal failure. While there is no way to definitively prove the cause beyond doubt, my research leads me to believe and my vet to cautiously concur that this was most likely a direct result of giving him Jerhy Chicken Tenders jerky treats. There have been several hundred dogs in the US and a growing number here in Australia killed by chicken treats made in China and Thailand. These "treats" are full of banned antibiotics, preservatives and in one case discovered in China the jerky was stored in direct contact with rat poison in the warehouse prior to packaging. I am trying to warn as many dog lovers as I can to avoid these toxic time-bombs at all cost and have started a petition to try to have them removed from the Australian market, and would like to ask members to help me stop these unnecessary deaths by signing the petition at the following address:

I will never be able to forgive myself for unknowingly killing my little friend, and with luck and support, I hope to prevent anyone else from making the same tragic and irreversible mistake.
