So sad TB, but still not a registered breed recognised where it counts Sorry to hear about you bro, kick him up the behind
-
Growl at him like an angry dog when ever he does it and make sure he sees your teeth He is more than likely being dominant and you need to teach him you are the boss Chi can be a very dominant breed. Remember not to pick him up and carry him above your heart, it will also make him think he is better than you
-
Aussie Bulldogs come from Registered Breeders now? Really since when Your girl is lovely and you have got some great advise on here, but I would say her being a English Bulldog x Boxer means she follows the Boxer genes more than the EB
-
Grapes are also poisonous to dogs
-
Teach her drop it, I can yell at my dogs "Drop it" from 200metres away and they will drop it Shar pei like to grab and run too and this is the only way I could get things back off them
-
My Shar Pei male used to whinge, tried everything, nothing worked. Then brought a water pistol, when he whinges I spray him, he shuts up, now if he whinges I pick up the water pistol and he shuts up It worked for me and it is the only thing that works

Gotta love an Ollie dog great news
-
My dogs eat the same thing, just in different variations Sometimes chicken mince, veges etc Sometimes fish, vege, etc Same diet week in week out just different to the previous day and Paris is spoilt lol
-
Great thread Shek lol
-
My dogs are 3 and 4 years old now and still chew their beds, I figure they get sick of the same thing and want a new one lol
-
The 3 pups are being rehomed together, that is why I mentioned it A website I was reading stated that dogs can become carriers of parvo after recovering from it, and pass it onto others for their life?? Scared me when I read it There is so much conflicting information out there
-
I would not be rehoming them until they tested negetive Faecal sample and blood test, but better to talk to your vet Just because the 3rd pup did not get parvo before does not mean that he could not get it from them now My vet did not want to desex until they where 6 months, gave them time to recover Send a PM to Cordelia (jacq) she would be the best one to ask
-
They can also be carries of the virus for their life (i read it on a website), and can shed for up to 6 months My parvo pups that survived were quaranteened away from other dogs for 6 weeks and then blood tested 2 weeks after their vacc to see if they are carries, neither are luckily I rehomed them both 8 weeks after they recovered to homes that know they had parvo
-
Your boy is a big boy for age? a fast grower? I would be taking him to the vet for a check over
-
hey i'd like to see a photo of your loungeroom in the evening, with ten Shar Pei sitting on the couches watching telly. Does that ever happen? NO :D never happens, not all ar Pei either, I have a Boston x PUg and a Frenchie, foster dogs are seperate from my dogs, well some anyway, Gracey lives with us but the other ferals are out the back
-
I do not add up what it costs to feed mine, but ATM I am feeding 10, I do not want to know either lol
-
You can get chicken mince for about 80 cents per kilo, just do not feed everynight as it is fatty Kangaroo, good for dogs on diets Beef is good too, Ask your greengrocer to save you older veges, cheap too
-
Canned food is not cheaper, shop around, good quality dry food in a combination diet with raw meat and pured vegetable, fruit etc is better for them
-
Big hugs coming to Ollie dog and ofcourse you and your family He sure is one special pooch
-
