Hi all, I have a 15month old purebred and registered king Charles Cavalier who has started collapsing quite frequently and has been at the vets where they concluded he is in heart block as his heart is beating too slow. He is still undergoing tests and treatment (atropine injections) but has mentioned he will need a pacemaker if it doesnt improve. He also told me that pacemaker surgery has only once been done in SA , so im guessing i might need to go interstate if we choose that option. Can anyone share with me their experience with a dog getting a pacemaker. Can you recomend any surgeons or centers and wether it was sucessful or not! Any info would be really appreciated :)
