Yeh, she can be good when SHE wants to be!!

This morning I took Jadey for a walk, and this dude had his fully grown rotti off lead. Once the rotti saw us, he fell behind (his owner) and ran around behind us. Jade was good and went to sniff his nose, but he kinda growled. Finally the owner realised his dog wasnt' right behind him and called him over... It was before 6am, but i am not sure what I would have done if the rotti was more aggressive. not long after i saw my next door neighbour walking his big fluffy.. keeshouse? i think. theyve barked at each other through the fence, but never met. turns out jade was happy to lie on her back while he jumped all over her!!

Nope never used a lead I just learnt to take her outside more oftehn then what i was, plus shes bigger now which means a bigger bladder. Thanks your puppy is very cute too!!!

The toilet problem isn't really a problem anymore, and nah, she sleeps outside, her kennel is lined in wool carpet. It just happened to be the other night when Paul & Judd were over that she decided to piss on our bed. Nick isn't a push over, he just keeps shouting, instead of leading her. 99% sure we failed the test with Sean the other day too. She did everything perfectly before hand, but when it came to the test, she may as well have been deaf. Afterwards though, she was back to listening to me...grrr.

yeh one of them is here again today, and she had no problems running up to him and being all over him like nothing else.

yeh that makes sence, but she jumps all over them if they're sitting down so who knows. i asked him today to no shout at her, i hope he donest.

oh yeh, she nowkeeps barking.. gonna have to fix that. she barks at the neighbours. one of them came over nad met jade, but she only barks when im not around so im not sure how she's going.

Ok... we seem to have another issue. Jade is fine when shes around me, but not when shes around my boyfriend. She never pisses inside when I'm around, however last night she pissed all over our bed!!!!!!! when i was having a shower. My b/f was in the next room on his computer. I had acutally put her outside before hand, but my b/f had some friends over, who were going in and out all night, and she obviously came in with one of them. What Ive noticed though, is when she goign to to wee out side, she does it the normal way when im around (or when shes by herself and ive been looking outside and seen it), but when Nick is around, outside and she needs to go, she lies down on her stomach so it looks like shes not going?? Nick seems to almost shout at her when she wont "listen", where is if she won't do something which i ask her (eg - to go outside), i lead her out, where as he just keeps talking at her, which she obviusly isn't understanding.

My puppy got out (gate wasnt' shut properly) and she just ran to the front door and scratched on it until we let her in. never been so relieved in my whole life.

well she seems ok so far

haha this morning i left the grapes too close to the edge o the bench, half an hour later i come out to find her happily chewing on the grape stalky part. grapes are expensive!!! luckily i'd aready eaten most of them

haha i'd love to have the time to walk that far every day. i must say, she has been a bit dopey all day today, but it was a lot warmer here today also, more than normal. i would have been more than happy to carry the big lump if she got tired out, but she was fine!

her birthday was 3 may. shes much better now, it seemed to click a couple of weeks ago. i think shes had about 2 accidents (one where my boyfriends sister who she doenst know shouted at her while i wasn't even here ;) ) and another time I think I wasn't watching the time.

Yeh mate, i understand that, but she has previously been on hour long walks without any troubles so I thought I'd go a bit further. she got a 20 minute break in between also. I did plenty of reading also - thanks for your concern.

well , closer to 5 months ( on wednesday). does she look upset? she kept up and didn't cry, and her tail was wagging the whole time - to me that seems to make me think she enjoyed it. she usually goes for half hour , or hour walks. this was her first 2 hour walk.

went for a 12km walk to my parents and back today. this is the half way after 6km.. shes asleep on the floor now snoring on and off!!

Training went better this morning, she almost got along with other dogs! She does seem to be growing in confidence every day, so we'll get there.

Thanks for that. Aaaaaaaahhhh. Found a lil puppy tooth on the floor just now. How long do they teeth for again? lol

This morning Jade (being a good girl and sitting on command) started sliding backwards along the kitchen floor. Was funny, she did it a few times.. one day she'll learn.. maybe

Well I'm glad it was that! Ive organised for her best friend Max (the rotti): to come over on saturday arvo so they can walk together. I'm hoping she'll learn not to run and hide behind me when she see's another dog (like yesterday!!) Is there anything else I can do to make her a bit more confident - or is it just time?
