Dogs Seized From No Kill Shelter

As I said, it seems that none of you have physically been there and are relying on the written word to base your opinions. What I found quite disgusting in this thread is that some of you have allowed those opinions and the moral outrage you obviously feel, as a result of what you perceive, to degenerate into online harassment and outright nastiness and you seem to revel in it, egging each other on to continue harassing. If you are so outraged by this rescue organisation and the RSPCA are investigating them, why not leave them to do so? Why then continue to make life difficult for people who are trying to help? The thread initially intrigued me, and I found that I probably wasted too much time, that could probably have been spent far better, going through 100+ pages of abject nastiness. My conclusion is that there are little people who spend their little lives sitting on a keyboard trying to stir up trouble, for no other reason than they enjoy it. I can't be bothered responding any further because it is pointless. I will leave you to continue your harassment. I HAVE been there a few times, seen firsthand the lack of care and heard the blame being passed along. In the same way as another SA rescue in a similar area who HASN'T been in investigated (yet). It's disgusting that Lola would not allow assistance until it got to the point that she had NO choices left. Show me that this will change and I will be one of the first there to support her AND the shelter! -

I think it is wonderful that he has been nominated for that medal, these are some of the categories: Pride of Australia Medal: Class/Category: Numpty Division: Sub Section: Great Australian Tuggers I just spat my coffee over my laptop screen when I read that! Very very funny ... and sadly, very accurate too. Methinks a tissue (maybe a whole box) is in order here. NOT for us though. Just for the stuff that comes from MA because it sure as Hell doesn't come from his mouth surely? Think Stain here lol Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 'Scuse me while I throw up, if you mean what I think you mean. I still reckon we should call him "Sorbent", cause he talks so much S**t. As a wise man once said "It's a wonder he can walk and breath at the same time, he's so thick". And to quote my Nanna, "he couldn't lie straight in bed". Sorbent shall now be his new name, but only due to the extra strength properties. He needs all the help he can get now lol -

PMSL 'Split Personality Disorder' only counts when one actually has many different persona which MA clearly doesn't, he posts from different pages in exactly the same way and with exactly the same spelling mistakes. He obviously is NOT educated in grammar. I would have thought that a person who wanted to run for local government would have at least a minor command of grammar and it's context, which he obviously doesn't. I would hate to think that I could live in his constituent and have him speak for me. DOG knows how it would turn out lol -

More like the 'Pride Of The Long Drop Nomination', all that comes from his mouth is S*&T. Seriously who in their right mind would nominate him for anything? -

MA is a simpleton who is playing a part in Lola's game. He is the idiot who reposts everything she sends him and then adds to it with his own spin. They will both be found out and be shut down. No one ever could be such a moron and still try for a part in the political circuit whilst listening to a person who doesn't like humans. Time for him to wake up, time for her to shut up and tell the truth. Mark pushed out volunteers without a doubt, but Lola pushed out many more prior to the shit hitting the fan. Mark is not anywhere close to being on my most favourite people list, but Lola is using him big time to shut the shelter so she can come out smelling of roses whilst he smells of manure and he is running with it and playing the game well, so he deserves every second of it. He ha chosen to name people, bully people and call work, friends or family, so no sympathy for anything that comes his way. -

As a FORMER volunteer from MAS, I can tell you in all honesty it was worse than the puppy farm that was raided. Just ask Lola about the area "down the back" because that is where Tommy, Wombles and so many more were kept from public view. I have seen it first hand, there were a couple of beautiful dingo crosses there along with the rest. They all went nuts because they became "cage crazy" due to not having enough human contact. They were all considered unadoptable for whatever reason. I didn't have much contact with Wombles, but I offered to take Tommy before he was moved there. I was turned down due to his 'anxiety' issues. I had experience with blind working dogs and could have dealt with him easily at that point. -

My friend asked simple questions on his page and guess what???? Got blocked by MM. Just shows he doesn't wish to answer the true issues. All that was asked was why he imports from Indonesia whilst pushing Australian made products. How is that an issue for a politician who wants to be chosen to lead his public? Is profit worth more than his electorate? -

You beat me to it, I was going to say the only thing worse than having MA attack you was having him on your side! Truth be told Media Mark needs to be shut down permanently. He is all mouth, no action in reality. It's all for the media and I for one am so over him. I asked questions via PM because I actually wanted to give support to Moorook at that point, got posted in public for it all, plus was abused via PM on Facebook. None of what he posted about me was true and he knew it, but still chose to post. Would I want him onside? NO bloody way, because I would never know when it would turn to a vendetta against me! All questions and no answers from him, ask and ye shall NOT receive from him. At least NOT truthful anyway, it seems to always be a typical politician who leads those who question around the post with no answers, OR to turn it back on those who ask the questions. He is a liar and speaks only of what suits his purpose at that moment. He has been found out and it is a matter of time before he is outed for what he says. I and many others have no sympathy for him. How can anyone who supposedly pushes the "buy Australian made" then buy from Indonesia for his business ever be taken seriously for long. This is the man Moorook and Lola et al trust??????????????????????? -

As a former supporter of MAS, I can tell you that everything said in regards to what it was like is true. Green water, spoiled bakery goods and flavoured milk being fed as part of their diet. Animal food was not secured from pests. At that point there was 1 regular volunteer who helped Lola on the weekend that I know of. Cats were free range and there were dogs in amongst the debris. The place was a mess and not healthy for the animals there. Offers of help were mostly refused, more due to pride than anything I believe. I have nothing against Lola, she did what she could and believes she can save them all, but there has to be some sort of limitation in place to stop this from happening again. There will be the same problems once this is over and the helpers start to disappear. I am certainly no fan of RSPCA, but something had to be done to stop this continuing. Perhaps if the councils had given her some support, it would not have came to this, I doubt it though due to the feeling Lola has to save every animal that comes to the gate. There are good reasons why volunteers leave and since many have walked away, maybe it's time to find out the reason why rather than placing blame on them. I am not having a "go" at anyone here BTW, this is what I have been seeing on Facebook since this whole issue began. People being named in public, their details being posted will not help the shelter stay open. The main one doing and allowing it on the Facebook page this must surely realise that the page will be monitored and everything kept.
