Koda was 3.37kg at 8 weeks and 1 day, will get him weighed on his 12 week vac and see how he is doing, no deterance for food, he likes his meals but doesn't complain at all when we eat so isn't pushy for food yet. me and him having a snuggle this morning outside: DSC_0181 by jackclague, on Flickr -

Awesome cassie, sounds like Sumo is growing well. Koda loved his first class with the breeder, was a trip to go there but worth it, got to play with his sister and was fast asleep on the ride home and all last night, didn't hear a peep out of him. -

Sounds like she is getting on great Dory, Koda is the same with his howl, its heart wrenching at the best of times and at night I just wanna go back out there and cuddle him, I might start putting him in the cage fully at night and having the cage in our room so if he howls I know its for the toilet and not cause he is lonely Its even worse when I have to put him in the yard before I go off for work and I can hear the whimpering And I think too much at work about him, worrying myself to death about what he is up to, what might have happened, wahhh gotta stop thinking, he is fine..... p.s I got my first puppy school session today, can't wait -

very cute pup aliwake, happy he is doing better -
Then do what I do and sneak on this forums when the boss isn't looking.

Mishka is very beautiful Gertrude, what breed is she?

I thought about that but I have "artificial" turf on my lawn so I didn't want to stake into it, another option you can use is plant shield fencing, its a tight woven fabric fence that you tack to wooden posts, usually black and green, the only downside is they may chew it, maybe try and find some plastic chicken wire instead of the metal one, always worry about that metal one having sharp edges. Just try to think about work and it will fly, trust me :)

It seems to be working although it won't be long till he will be able to jump them, will have to stand them up in a few weeks to make them taller.

Gonna be super busy this week so getting mine in early, but If i happen to snap any good pics will post them :D 23/52 by jackclague, on Flickr

Miss's left at 2:30 said he was doing good, I came home expecting to see the yard in a tip, but nope, he did well, only one small shrub pulled over, everything else looked good, the extra boards I put on the bottom of the fence seem to have also detered him from digging there. He was super super happy to see me, not the normal 5min frantic-ness, more like a good 10min of moaning in my lap and kisses, boy do I feel so bad leaving him each day. If i could work from home I would haha. Jack

Awesome zereuloh, Corgi was high on our list as well. Hope you find the right pup Regards Jack

I can't judge (replying from work computer)

For sure, not only would it be useless but I would get the wrong size for sure. I have been lurking frantically for the good stuff on free shipping week to week. Not that we don't have enough toys for a start.... Actually one next to work, in Mentone. The poor guy called up work to get some stuff for the commercial vacs in store and I pounced on him. Haha. He even offered me trade discount, which is probably HUGE on $28. Haha. Hopefully that doesn't equal a Bunnings marital contract or something. Awkward! I will grab some zip ties too! Great hint! lol love it, sideways thinking at work :D
-
That's the best home-made doggie cover I've seen, heck it looks better than my $40 one from bonfido.
-
Which bunnings did you try? The one on ballarat road had about 10 packs when I was there last, also there is watergardens that had 4-5 packs last I checked. Lisa thanks, hoping as well the backyard will be ok, but I have prepared myself if its not :D Also a good tip for joining them is to not us the provided springs (sharp) but buy a pack of medium size zip ties.

Hi Lisa, It was good, he is still struggling to adapt to bed times, howls allot at night, usually for 10min then sleeps for 30-40 then repeats, It might be a toilet thing as well as when I get him up in the morning he is usually waiting for me and does a poop outside straight away, sometimes two, might have to get myself up in the middle of the night to let him out, or maybe its the fact he's alone, might add a radio near him to help him sleep. Rest of the day he is good, we had a few outings, mostly the park across from my house when there was no-one there, lots of off-lead work as well, he has a very good recall, he usually follows me but sometimes something catches his eye or nose and he goes off, If I call he immediately stops and comes back, very proud. Only one accident inside but it was my fault as I should have seen him looking for a place to poop and we were in the bedroom (fluffy carpets) so he started there, me carrying him to the lawn while he is still pooping so glad the breeder had him on VAN and he still is so its not loose  He is a good boy really, sleeps when inside with my and plays outside, hates being along but I guess that's normal for a pup, he is outside today while I work but my OH is on afternoon shift so she is looking after him till 2:30pm then I will be back at 6pm. I miss him, allot, just want to quit work and stay home each day or take him out. Can't wait to get home.

Question on worming, was given some good detail on when and how often I should do it but being new to all this I am not sure where to start in purchasing the right worming medication, will call the breeder tonight to get some more info but just wanted to check with you all if there is anything I should know about worming. -
Yer we were, it was all kinda fast, but so glad we did it.
-
The car is great, perfect size for me and will be great for Koda when he grows as well

Hi Steph, yes I'm in Caroline Springs, your welcome to pop over on Sunday if you wanna say hi I'd have to steal him, but I am well and truly up for a play date in a few weeks when ours gets here and we've all had the appropriate needles! Would be good to meet a similar sized pup! No worries Steph, sounds like a plan
