sorry for the last post, I was venting a little, I've got savings aside for my boy as well as my current petplan payments so hopefully I will have him covered. I just hope they don't keep increasing the premiums or atleast start to take into account genetic history, dna tests etc.

Sorry to bump this but I just wanted to chime in and say I am moving from petplan to putting the money into a locked savings accounts, my premium went up buy 80% to just over $80 per month, it is insane and the worse part is they won't take into account the dogs parental history and tests already done to prove it is clear of all known issues with the breed. heck i know more about my boys health and family history than my own. 4 years in a locked savings account will net around 5K cash and keep on growing as he gets older, so any problems should be covered.

I love Sumo's imitation of the bear rugs, he is such a cuddly boy, 60kg's at 7 months, what you expecting at full grown. 110kg?

Well the last two days have been interesting, we are in a new development area and have no wind break infront of us (north facing) so we got the brunt of the storm on monday night, 125km winds directly into our back fence funneled by the house into a strong point caused it to buckle and break, sent the whole of tuesday away from work fixing it so it was safe for Koda to be outside today. popped home at lunch to check on him and the fence only to find it buckled again and 3supports snapped, lucky i came back as it was gusting 90km and I got koda inside and cleaned the main room so he could stay in there while i popped back to work. dammit

Gus is growing nicely Steph, he looks very relaxed :D
