Would you go a Tamron lense over a Nikon? Im loving some of the gimmicky features on the D5200 any thoughts?

I have a D40X that needs to be replaced due to the cat, pawing it off the bench. Both my 18-55 and 55-200 lenses are still ok so was thinking of a Nikon again so I can keep the lenses as back up. So would buy a body and then a seperate lense but some of the nikons included that above lense so thought that might be a goer?

Hi All, Im looking for a good all round lense to use for kids, animals and close ups of collars, pet tags in a photo tent? Will this lense be on I can leave on my camera most of the time and still get a good shot?

Welcome to the world little Widget pups. Sorry to hear on little one didnt make it but she did an amazing job with pups so big for her tiny little frame. They are all gorgeous and Widget looks very proud but tired in her pics. Give her a huge pat from me.

Wow a 1kg a week. He will be a big boy. Roughly what age are they classed as fully grown? Casper is gorgeous, hopefully he doesnt have a reaction to the vaccination. Hows his crate training going? Hi Everyone, I am in the market for a new camera and I am wondering if I stick with Nikon as I assume the lenses that came with my current one will fit it or swap across to Canon. Camera would be used for pets, kids and close up pics of my sewing projects. Would love some advise on easy to use, good in crappy light but still quick for doggy pics. Sumo is looking a lot more grown up Cassie but still just as gorgeous.

Might send a breeder friend an email and ask incase there is something I can get whilst the sale is on :)

Not yet Cassie but I have everything crossed. Nova got lots of exciting things. I don't need to worry much about brushes as I will really only need one but will need stuff to make the coat shiny I assume some Sort of shampoo for that.
