She is stunning. Sounds like a well adjusted pup that isnt fazed by much. A credit to her breeder and breeding. Seems like she might take to the show ring no worries at all.

Sounds exciting. Hopefully you can get everything you need by then. Is there a lot of grooming for Sumo before he goes in the ring? Sorry not up on requirements for those with more coat.

I'm waiting for a litter to be conceived so might be waiting a while to get in the ring. Sounds like you will be out in the ring in no time Cassie. Can the person that has Sumo sister help you out as I imagine you both need to do the same thing?

We can all be newbies in the show ring together. Sounds like she will be a good showing prospect then. Any idea when your first show will be? Cassie I assume it will be a little while before you can get all the paperwork sorted out and start showing?

Will check them out and see what they are like. its hard when you buy something online but we dont have any shops that stock them in town.

Thats quick postage. Is it a nice strong one? My mum has one thats 10 years old and its really thick wire compared to what I have seen lately so havent bought one yet. Cassie sounds like a big headache. Do you need something different to register them? Dory which breed of puppy are you getting? I have only bought (well ordered) my show trolley. I have a gazebo and mat already. Also looking at a new car for showing as I have an Elgrand van as we have 3 human children that are tall so looking for something a little more fuel economical.

Is anyone going to be showing there new puppy? I will be and am spending my time looking and buy up things for the show ring whilst waiting on litters of precious little IG's to be conceived and born.

I am going to make a bed with minky for our new pup when she arrives. Looking at options of stuffing at the moment and I was wondering what people thought would be better crumbed foam or feathers? Both would be inclosed in PUL which is is stay dry fabric used in making modern cloth nappies and then have an outer made in minky so would hopefully mean the inside needs less washing that the outside. Thoughts please. TIA :)

I was looking at the more heavy duty puppy pens from ebay that are bright blue but maybe the bunnings ones will be fine :)

Yes IG = Italian Greyhound :) I plan on showing so will be keeping busy buying things along the way

Hi Everyone, thought I would stop in and say Hi. I am waiting for an IG pup but will be waiting a while as neither breeder I have been talking with will have a litter for a while as they are waiting for girls to come into season. Thought I would jump on say Hi and enjoy my wait ( ok might go slightly stir crazy) with you guys. Congrats to those that welcomed their new family members this weekend

Hopefully it wont fall into the wrong hands especially with the part about it being a great income. Those poor little doggies. Would be brilliant for a rescue facility though. I hope all those doggies are desexed and also get to live a life of retirement not just the home owner.

Im not sure Nevafollo, was just looking at pictures yesterday and on one it said something about them going to to China to be in the factory for a few weeks to get them to what they wanted but the do offer a guarentee so that should ok, if anything does happen
