I bought this brand for my dogs tonight & all was fine - must have been a mishap :) First time for my dogs, Vet reckoned my girl Mia might be reacting to yeast, so grain/cereal free food was suggested, they loved it :)

Ok, I wont be coming back here for a while...Im waiting on some news (around first of May) that will tell me if I have a pup coming to live with us in July or not. Once I know for sure I'll back, both parents have been health tested from this breeder.

Maybe , before having the heart shot thru with cute , ask the 'hairy' questions first ??? THEN look at pics? There was already a pic on their dol listing, hard not to look Aaahhh - :) Totally :-), Im on a waiting list with another as they don't breed often, but Im asking all the questions, will see what they say :-)

:) cute is good. health tests and GOOD results of parents , a good pedigree , parents of great temperament , breeder support for the life of the pup are BETTER :p :D Couldn't agree more, now I have to move on, parents have never been tested. and for about 1200 a pup, I would expect them to have been tested. Disapointed.

Well Im done for now, emailed 4 breeders out of 30...not only am I fussy, but I prefer keeping closer to home as well...hubby asked me how my enquiries were going tonight...I said, thats all they are at the moment enquiries :p lol

Strangely there are no rules about registered breeders selling or breeding "DD's", PROVIDED the registered dogs are not the ones being used for the cross breeding. There is nothing that says they can't use unregistered dogs, or their family members may also be involved in breeding unregistered dogs. Personally, I'd keep looking. Just to clarify thats not the same breeder as I was talking about last night just another one :-) But yes Im contacting others still, not sure what they usually price at so Im looking around to see if the prices are the same or not, if not then why not, just out of curiousity :-)

Well I have found a registered breeder with whom I will not do business...searching her email adress, came up with how she has sold cavoodles it could have been an 'accident' but would a good breeder have such accidents happen??

Just curious, as Im not a breeder there are things which I wonder about, regardless of the breed there always seem to be a variation of price between boys and girls, why is that? Thanks :)

Had a breeder reply to me then checked the top 50 best breeders turns out she is one of them Replied back to her email, nice to have a reply so fast, considering the busy lives they all have :-)

Those questions are fine, but the type of work you do shouldnt be a requirement, thanks for that I had forgotten to check the list, I had only seen the puppy page lol

Yes I wiil :) There seem to be only 3 Breeder in QLD one of which requires a form to be fill out if for a family, with some questions that only a close friend should know IMO. The other 2 are related, contacted both of them...Will see not getting my hopes up :)

I really love their round nose too, almost like a plush toy!

I just got back home from getting my hair done & on the way I saw a lady walking her CKCS, so I turned around stop the car by the park & went to have a chat, I liked how she said in response to my question 'do they shed a lot' she said thats the only thing wrong with him lol, nice lady :), she had a Blenheim, they look so much cuter in real then in photos :) Would love to hear back from the breeder sometime soon...:)

Does that mean that you have tried lol oh well I will have sheets on them just in case :-) Well I have contacted a breeder from the dogzonline list but yet to hear back from them. It's not that you can't teach it NOT to sit on the couch. You can. It's just that Cavalier KCS have a love of "perching" on high places and the couch or back of or armrests are a favourite. Also the bigger factor is the couch is where YOU are and Cavaliers are very much a people dog and want to be as close to you as they can be. Re grooming, bath when needed, just like any other dog and a few minutes brushing each day keeps a coat (and dog) healthy. They have a sensitive skin so make sure the shampoo is appropriate for a sensitive skin. Well should be doable then, I only sit on the couch at night time hehe.

I can't wait, I hate waiting lol, so I try not to check my mail box to often lol :-) they sound like great dogs :-) Which color do you prefer? I love the tri but they only breed the ruby and chestnut and white(my second fav).
