Ive tried that burn tool thing quite a few times over the last 6 months and I just can't get it right. I always make it look really unnatural as I struggle with Riley's fur around his neck (its spikey).

Yep I got it out from the library a few months ago/.

That last one looks great Vickie.

I can't find my out of bounds ones. Must of deleted them.

This thread has got more attention than your other one

I wouldn't give any chocolate cake to the dog. For Riley's birthday earlier on in the year we bought a icecream cake and he had a bit of that. He loved it. Even the cat got a piece

Maybe if its not sealed properly, once open, it looses its moistness
-
What do you mean by icky? And the packet I bought didn't smell at all
-
Good idea

Well Riley woofed his down. He loved it. I found the food quite moist too. I'll have to pick up a few more packets to keep in the fridge.

Just went and looked. I doubt the food will touch the sides in Riley's mouth ;) The size of the "balls" aren't that big...but I guess they are for smaller dogs. Edited to add - I noticed that it was mentioned in that thread that the food was a bit dry. I'll have a look when I open the packet, but maybe mixing a egg with it could help solve that problem if people are worried ?

I bought a packet of it and am going to give it to Riley tonight. I make most of Rileys dinners myself, but thought if this 4 legs stuff was any good Id keep a packet in the fridge. I thought it would be really handy to use on those days when Im out of other food, or in a big rush.

Anyone got any opinions on it? I saw it in the supermarket the other day. http://www.4legs.com.au/dogfood.php

I bought my furminator from them and was very happy with the service. Got mine really quickly too.

Hydrobath Use With Water Restrictions
wagsalot replied to 4 Paws's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Sorry I didn't reply to your PM - I forgot about it We have a rainwater tank that I have my hydrobath hooked up to so I don't have to worry about water restrictions. -
We always cook up Riley's meat.

What Type Of Gate Is Better - With Visability Or Not?
wagsalot replied to Kylie and the black Lab's topic in Puppy Chat
All our yard is fenced with timber posts and wire so Riley can see out. When I house sat for my aunty her yard was fenced with colourbond so Riley couldn't see out. He barked and barked and barked. I had to leave him at home in the end. He hated not being able to see out - I think he was bored. I guess it depends on the dog though. -
Would You Invest In A Heated Therapy Pool
wagsalot replied to MellG's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
If I could afford it and know my dogs would get the use out of it, then Id definately do it. Good idea about renting it out too -
Riley had sardines last night. He loves them

Riley doesn't get very many baths as he's not a smelly dog. He does get a bath though after we've been the beach to make sure all the sands out of his coat so in summer he could get a bath twice a month. If we don't go the beach he'll get bathed probably once every 4 - 6 months. Im a dog washer too, so if he gets a bath, its done in my hydrobath. Edited to add - I don't use conditioner.
-
Unfortunately Riley never took to those pee pads when he was a pup, but if he did I would of thought they'd need changing after each use??
-
What do you during the day if your out or at work? Do the dogs stay inside?
-
Whether its advertised at the right people or not, I still don't think any animal should be able to be won as a prize. Give the farmers money so they can go buy the dog themselves, but not as a prize. Anyone can enter the comp, so theres no guarantee what kind of home this poor dog will end up in.

Yuck. Toads. We went to Ballina for a holiday in Feb, and didnt even think about toads. We were letting Riley out of the tent to go the toilet at night, not even thinking about it. Then OH went out and saw a toad. After that Riley had my OH following him round with a torch when Riley went out for a wee at night. Do toads only come out at night? We only saw them at night in Ballina.
