Hi We have just heard that it is on the Tennis Courts !! Does anyone know whether the surface is Bitumen or Cement or something else ?? Not keen on showing near midday on Hot surface not worried about us it is the dogs feet ?? Thanks In Advance xx

Thanks guys, and big congrats on Rumba going Junior in Show at the Champ show Thankyou Miss B we are so pleased with our Rumba he was ran for Best In Show as well ! Fabulous for a 13 month old boy, we love him a great dog to live with Rumba loves being in the ring with his Dad Craig (who should take all the credit really) Craig is self employed and washes all the dogs before a show If I do not get home in time most of the time it is late. I just groom them on the day of the show unless I am at home to wash them Work is important but so are Dog Shows lol !! Kind Regards Malisa

Hi Every One We had a fabulous showing weekend Craig says it was his best so far lol !! On Saturday our 10 month old boy "Rumba" Shinano Inner Rythym was awarded Puppy In Group out of an outstanding class ;) Then on Sunday our 9 month old girl "Honour" Kodo Yours Truely imp NZ was awarded RUNNER UP IN GROUP out of a stunning line up of dogs. Honour then went on to win JUNIOR IN SHOW :p Rumba was also awarded Puppy In Group and then also went on to win PUPPY IN SHOW as well We and the breeders are proud as can be ;) :D :D Honour 7.5 months Rumba 6.5 months Kind Regards Malisa & Craig

Hi Craig will be attending Saturday only with Honour and maybe Rumba if his coat has grown a bit ! I will be staying home baby sitting our oldest boy Mason is recovering from a major op for gastric and spleenic torsion on Saturday night. Hi We have for many years Fed Eagle Pac Power once when we could not get the power we had to try another Eagle Pac variety Mason lost weight on it so we only feed the Power to the older ones and the young ones get the Eagle Pac Giant Breed Formulae. Mason gets a Chicken frame in the morning and one and half cups and around the same of fresh chicken mince and supplements and is always around the 50 kg mark (not fat just right) in winter we feed him additional cup in the morning. Hi We have a cocus palm tree too near the nature strip in front yard. Our retired neighbours kindly removed the stalk with the seeds on it with a chain saw we are lucky to have great neighbours ! The Akita's can't get to it at all but apparently the seeds entice rats and mice to your yard as well so we are so happy to be rid of the stalk the next to go is the tree its self one day soon when we have time. Vermin bring diseases as well yukk. Bowel blockages frighten the hell out of us and our sympathy goes to all that have suffered this horrible problem. Kind Regards Malisa

Hi itbity From the photo looks like the heat spot before they turn pussy and yuk (ones we used to get on the rottys) awful stuff Poor baby take her to the vet and see what they say if you are worried. Neocourt is great stuff the dogs hate it but it works a treat. We do not have ivy here, so can't comment. Kind Regards Malisa

Hi iltby Looks like the beginning of a heat spot to me. There are many references to this on Dogz have a search. With the Akita's we clean the area and apply neocourt ointment, gone in few days. Hi Mason our akita went crazy when we bought a Wubba but he loved it that much it is now R.I.P My sister bought him a Pet stages triangle toy which he liked for a while not as much as the Wubba though. Does anyone know where to buy the Wubbas on line in Australia ? Mason and Delta would love another one, Bella does not like toys as much as the others. Thanks Malisa

We use Champion Tails on our Akita's whites but is also good for Red and Black colours as well. It is very strong so you will have to dilute. Quite affordable too. Malisa Baby Delta

Cassie If you are concerned take Hudson to an animal natropath or vet. Mason was like this anything different in larger amounts upset his tummy. We remember a few nights with a pup with diarrhea Yucky. Was when we first got Mason and changed his food slowly. But as Okaway said it could be the fat we use digestive drops from our animal natropath to help in digestion for pancreas and the stomach for nearly 5 years now. We do not feed lamb flaps only chicken frames and necks and Chicken mince and Eagle PAC plus other ad ons. When they have an upset tummy we feed boiled brown rice and boiled chicken thighs and yes yogurt is great our dogs love it. Every dog is different Delta has not had any problems what so ever so far and she is now 16 weeks. Cassie email me if you would like any more information.
