Hmmm the Teeter from Start to Finish has a section on teaching the dog to square up for the approach. Maybe you could use the same method on the dogwalk .
-
RS - my alphabet book arrived on the weekend and a second copy arrived Monday morning - hmmm CR stuffed up just a little bit .

Forgot about this website for tug leads - Australia based and just saw it listed on Agility Australia. http://statikpaws.weebly.com/our-products.html

yes but we don't trial obedience or agility at our main canine grounds RV.
-
Martingales are fine I don't find them difficult .
-
wuffles yep you do.
-
Wuffles - Kenz's first one was 12.5" and Ness's was 13.5" Kenz's is a little tricky to get on and Ness's fits Kenz's fine but yeah Ava should be similar. My 14" is a little loose on Kenz but not the end of the world.

Yep get a dog that suits your lifestyle for sure because otherwise if something should happen and your dog is unable to compete you still have to live with the dog you have selected - and yes accidents can and do happen despite all good intentions.
-
I will say the smaller they are the harder they are to get on and off and when your in a hurry at the end of the run slightly bigger is better. That is unless you have a dog who slips its collar.

Here you go red galaxy would look awesome - http://www.kollarsbykathryn.com/circlesswirlespaisley.html

This is actually my preferred site but I held of posting it because one of my friends ordered one and she didn't seem to get it but since it arrived yesterday I will post it. http://www.kollarsbykathryn.com/ I have 4 from here and LOVE them. As far as sizing goes - my two BC girls have a 13-14" ones. The ones I have were custom sized.

Some smaller tug leads just for RS and yes I have ordered from this person before . http://www.yipeeee.com/4-slip-lead-15.html

Stonecutter - try getting the dog looked at by a good physio or chiro. I don't want to alarm you when there might be nothing the matter but that is all the signs my young BC would show. I dismissed it and just presumed it wasn't really anything but was told its not normal for a young dog to show any signs of being sore or stiff when they first wake up - no matter how quickly they warm out of it. Least so I was told.

You could try the St Bernards Road Veterinary Clinic at Magill. 81-83 St Bernards Rd, ph: (08) 83644545. No personal experience with them other than to say one of the vets who works there is a good friend of mine and I would certainly trust her with any of my guys if we didn't live on the other side of town. I did ask about a price on cartrophen injections when I was doing a ring around for a ballpark figure and there price was certainly the cheapest around the place although I still opted to go to our local vet for the sake of convenience.

Have a look at Greg Deretts Foundation dvd Seita.

.

Nothing wrong with tea-cup ACD or BCs for that matter . Make super competitive 400 dogs for agility .
-
Here is a video I have of it - not the clearest one mind you as its a little old and the camera quality wasn't as good as it is now. http://www.youtube.c...107/8qnpH4PYl3o Basically if you want to incorporate a drop into the picture then you would ask the dog to drop after they have eaten the treat and as they are on the way back to you.

I just tried to send you a PM but it said it was full. My two have plenty of toys and this one isn't a favorite so if you can't locate one maybe we can come to arrangement about getting it to you. -

RIP Dear Lara. You were a true champion and I feel very much privileged to have had the opportunity to meet and play with her when I visited. Hugs to you and all the red kids Ptolomy.

I have to agree with JulesP. Prong collars aren't something I would consider using and I was seriously skeptical about K9Pro in a big way but K9Pro always had an excellent answer to everything I had to question right from day 1 and as always the proof is in the results and results I certainly got.

So sorry Emery - will be thinking of you tomorrow as well - hugs.

Well if they have hacked yours they have hacked mine as well RS .
