Wahoo my order arrived today - funny the courier nearly forgot because he had 2 packages to deliver and went to drive off with the big box .

No suggestions but my heart goes out to you - my young 3 year old BC has been out of action for a long time and is driving me insane and so I totally get where your coming from. She also shows no interest in kongs.

Hmmm Kenz is seriously stir crazy she had her PRP injection on the 21st and has been on a combination of crate rest and no walks since - hmmmmm lets just say she is feral . Think she is due back for a second injection in the next week or so and then its slowly does it. ETA. And I seem to have jinxed the bloody dog - she decided to have a 30 second mad zoomie episode after posting this and at the moment I am just hoping the damage isn't lasting .

See if you can get a copy of the Greg Derett and Susan Garett dvds. SG's one jump (and no jump drills) are good for creating a dog who is both handler focused when needed as well as having obstacle focus when needed.

Ness is great with puppies (and dogs generally). She is totally neutral and couldn't give a toss - all she wanted were the treats but she isn't pushy .

Strauss looked really good and the bits of Cider on the video you posted looked nice as well. Naughty Ptolomy for lumping with the jump training though . ;)

PAX it wasn't the fact the BC was in the photo but more the fact she got between the camera and Elka . I was so impressed with Elka'a focus though. She wasn't at all distracted by Ness pushing in to try and get her treats. Sorry SecretKei if Ness introduced Elka to treat bag raiding .

I got to play with Elka today . She is oh so cute and feral .

Yeah Kenz had a round of acupuncture back in June or so. Slowly is certainly the key with everything - rehab is a gradual process. I have been remarkably good. Kenz has not had a walk since last Tuesday night and while she is being a little bit of a pest around the place she is coping ok. We are away from home so there has been no fence running or alarm barking or racing off down stairs at a million miles an hour so hoping the small amount of incidental running she has done is tame in comparison to normal.

Sway we probably already have done ;).

They aren't really that complicated to make . I did knock one up out of PVC bits in about 10 minutes .

I quite like her front box/chute idea for building muscle memory - and it means the dog is always right and you can then focus on other parts of the exercise.
