Mine have tracked new people most weeks (or at least rarely the same person consecutively) and have no real issues. There are some people they are less inclined to track but its more a problem with my nervy girl.

Not sure how "bad" it is to use the same piece of music at two levels. I guess it would depend how long you have between trials. I can see value of having a few advanced level routines under your belt considering its the class you can compete in the longest so I personally wouldn't have any issue with expanding on an intermediate routine to take into advanced.

I always used a wooden DB with my older girl until I trialled her in WA one year and the wind was so strong the DB blew back and needed to be rethrown. When I came back to SA I switched to a plastic DB .

Some trim ears but mostly just feet. There is a good aussie shepherd website on feet trimming will see if i can find it. Edited to clarify BC feet are trimmed in a similar manner.

Oh 24 you were lucky - I just went to prepare tea and give her her pain meds. Note to self starting tomorrow all meals will be prepared while she is crated because I can see if fast turning into a disaster if I don't.

Rest she is - I am sure I'll be struggling to keep her quiet in a few days time but for the moment is being a good girl.

Kenz update: All good - she is awake and fine and he only had to tighten the ligaments and didn't need to cut bone. She should recover very well. Can't wait to get my little girl back.

Will do guys - 30 min or thereabouts until I hear. Hope it all goes fine . Poor little thing doesn't get to come home until tomorrow sometime either. Least she is in good hands and they all love her there and think she is a sweety. Still doesn't make me feel any better about it but I did manage to get out of there this morning without dropping my bundle only been the last half an hour or so when the nerves have kicked in bigtime.
