not half spoiled Brookie - well done - three full days at the show is enough to send anybody to bed :D.
-
Ah see now whats the fuss about the halt, stand walk around the dog station - they were complaining about it but I don't find that one especially complicated. Well done on your passes and especially the plus one .
-
you should Piper - I think Piper would love it as well (probably more so then Ness ).
-
Thanks biker girl - was lovely to watch your two in action. They both did really well.
-
Brag from me - both kids were entered in their first Rally-O trials today and I managed to get them both through with reasonable passes . A little surprised that Ness who turned 12 a week ago scored better then Kenz but considering Kenz has had a pretty rough year so far I am just happy we managed to make it into the ring and hold it together :D. Kenz also had the misfortune of being first out of my two and I think I had my head around what I needed to do by the time I took Ness in . Bring on next weekend .

Poke poke Ptolomy and Bedazzledx2 - I know a couple of WA list members who did well at the Perth royal today (and yes I know your probably not home yet but I will get in early with the poking )

I have flown my nervy timid girl and I would expect your boy would be fine so long as he is well accustomed to being crated. Less stressful then rehoming I expect.
-
Walking up and down hills, walking through shallow water, running on soft sand, swimming would all be good starting points.
-
S&W thats more then I have managed. Do you want to come and whipper snip my place to .
-
I'd enter them both in Rally - RS and then if you want one other class so Millie in Open and Ruby in UD .
-
Yep enter and decide later mirawee .
-
Well done Brookie - bugger about the MR - maybe you should have painted him red and borrowed Scootas .
-
Well done Ptolomy and the OC one and well done Tassie and Rory. Kenz is particularly impressed that her cousin is finally getting his act together and upholding the family tradition in the obedience ring .

Here is a link to Matthew's details - http://www.chiropet.com.au/ He is brilliant and lots of other DOL people have used him and would say similar. I have had somewhat more dealings with him in the last couple of years then I would rather like but he is always upfront about what needs to be done. One of my guys has ended up needing some pretty heavy involvement with an orthospecialist but Matthew is certainly not one to race to surgery to try and resolve issues at first instance. He was the one that managed to pick up my youngsters luxating patella problem when it hadn't been picked up previously. He is also good at thinking outside the box for things which aren't quite as straight forward - this is where we are at at the moment in my on-going lameness saga . Not to mention the fact I can think of a few frantic phone calls with a dog on three legs just prior to competitions and he has always managed to squeeze them in if he thinks its necessary. ETA. I took my old girl to MyVet (but the practice on Cross Roads) years ago at one point over a lameness issue when I felt Matthew was a little far and wanted somewhere closer but still ended up back with Matthew as I was more impressed with him.

My normal vet clinic is Fiona and Nick at Hawthorn Vet Clinic which is just on Belair Road so not that far away from you. Depends what type of issues - lameness or soreness related issues and my two see Dr Matthew Condon who is a chiro vet but he is at Albert Park.

RS - Tassie mostly lays her own tracks for her own kids. I think the first time Rory tracked anybody else was at his track 1. I was training both of mine but found it a little tricky as they both tracked differently and I was finding it hard enough to get my head around 1 dog never mind 2. Having 2 though means you can always go and set one track for dog 1, then go off and lay a track for dog 2 and then come back and run dog 1 on their track then dog 2 on their track .
-
Yeah I suspect the reason she failed her track 3 was me . The oldie is also entered in the Rally-O trial in a few weeks time .
-
I think Tassie's Kirra is a Weave Pole suck .
-
ST my nearly 12 year old passed her track 2 this season and missed out on her track 3 though . Hoping she is still up for the challenge next year.

Yep thats the approach I would go as well. Casual and friendly and mention how much the dog likes the new food. Maybe you could even suggest if he wants to give you the money you would be happy to pick up a bag for him when you next get yours. He may only feed what he is feeding for convenience and might not even realize there are other options.

I have an earlier model then that Canon and its a good camera. Does the job nicely and takes some reasonable photos .
-
OSS - VetNPet have just advertised $1 shipping on all orders under 3kg until Friday. That makes it even cheaper .

VetnPetDirect is the cheapest place I have found for a 400gm tub. http://www.vetnpetdirect.com.au
