Another Joint Supplement: Rose-hip Vital Canine

Front leg/shoulder is where we started Sheena and yes Kenz would improve when she was exercised but was stiff and sore immediately on getting up. I hope its not that but bicep tendon injuries aren't uncommon in active performance dogs. -
I can double it over in the base of my 36" crates but there is another thick foam mat underneath.

I loved the PacSac beds I got through Clean Run . Perfect BC size but not sure they have them anymore - http://avistahostel.com/2013/03/23/review-abo-gear-pet-pacsac-pet-bed-online/

Yep I just found out earlier there is definitely an EIC like condition in Whippets.

kiesha maybe I should have included a warning. -
She is still not great but she has also been struggling much more with her BC collapse issue so it was back to the neurologist just to make sure there was nothing else going on. She has been out and about and done a few trials but to risky to do much with her. The verdict at the moment seems to be the muscle wastage she is experiencing isn't unexpected with the BC collapse condition and I just have to try and avoid as best I can anything which may trigger an episode. We have been working through some rehab exercises that I had suggested by a person in the US and maybe I might do some underwater treadmill with her (which is the other suggestion I have had) at some stage when I can find the money. Her RH patella according to the neurologist is "loose" but its not his area. Its difficult to get any logical advice because each specialist is a "specialist" and her issues seem to spread across both areas. She is having blood pulled this week to send off to the genome scan in the US on the BC collapse side of her issues. Her LH patella still bothers her quite a bit as well.

This is a video I put together last week of Kenz's story and experience with the RHVC - FHRP mine are both predominantly raw fed and get lots of things like chicken frames but I will mix it with a spoonful of yoghurt or some sardines or tuna or something each day. -
Such a bugger about the first jumping quallie card RS but I suppose you can always look in the positive in that she is a baby dog and an extra trial in Novice Jumping won't hurt . Hopefully she gets another pass next weekend. She is certainly a little firecracker .

Thanks for the offer behluka I may need to organise some more shortly :D. -
I could send Ness around for a swap. All she does is sleep and eat pretty sure Kiesha wouldn't find that a problem.

You can always start adding the RHVC and keep the glyde at the level you are presently then reduce the glyde if you think you want to switch totally. Or keep on the full dose of glyde and just add the maintenance dose of the RHVC. Thats probably what I would do if I wasn't sure. When I started my young girl on the product I did switch her straight onto the RHVC exclusively because I wanted to see how good the product was and didn't feel it was a good test of the product if I kept up the other. -
If he gets to much you could just send him to me and I'll wear him out .

Yeah there is no contraindications so you could give it with glyde. Not sure on dosage. I do still give my old girl joint guard in addition to the RHVC (mostly because I still have a container left) and she is getting the normal dose of both products. -
Dory we are there tomorrow as well but I didn't class tomorrow as the weekend. You could come laugh at our DWD routine .
-
Ness says come Saturday and bring fish treats Dory .

I have had two soft crates from here - http://www.k9softdogcrates.com.au/ Both still going strong after 4 years.

Ptolomy has he thrown in a set of steak knives yet. Good luck for the state agility everybody .

I have taught and use both. I find if I keep Kenz guessing she presents much squarer because she doesn't predict which way she is going to be sent. You also need both finishes if you compete in Rally .
-
My two are also both on the RHVC JulesP .
-
its funny with Rally you have a handler lost points and the dog lost points and its normally the handler who has lost the most points .
-
 mine both got a 30 second lesson on the old LAT because it happened to be on one of the courses . No issue with it.
-
Kenz came out of retirement briefly to enter and pass two Rally Advanced legs last weekend but her days of doing anything much are very very limited . No more obedience trialling for her.

The chiro I use is also a vet. The physio I use is good at knowing when it needs to be referred back to the specialist and when it doesn't.
