Sorry guys have had a look for the Sue H/Spinner videos and don't appear to have them anymore .
-
RIP Spinner. Hmm not sure if I can lay my hands on the clips but I'll have a look I did have them filed away at some point.
-
And related to ours as well - apparently 4 times a day for less than a few minutes at a time (in the middle of the morning) is considered excessive barking .

Nah no footage unfortunately of that one . Was a lovely course though and she handled it like a pro - well the first time, second time she just got stupid but thats a baby dog for you (although not to be outdone Ness came along and flew through the course as well - good old Ness - actually speaking of Ness her contacts were rock solid tonight which is funny because its only taken me hmmm too many years to get her 2o2o contact behavior and tonight she was fantastic). Nope not entered any agility trials yet. She was unfortunately 18 months at the beginning of October and we don't have many trials over October/November/Dec/Jan/Feb so have opted to hold off starting her until later this year.

She ran a cracking Open Jumping course though - first time she has had a serious go on a course at her correct 400 jump height and she was flying. Usually she just gets to mess around on the 500 gear .She is a very different dog to handle from Ness and I don't have my head around her totally yet. We have only been picking at bits and pieces and its only been since this year that we have attempted to much in the way of sequencing and training has only been back a few weeks and she is just a ball to run. The problem I have with the DW/See-saw/scramble (and actually she is weave obsessed too ) is that I do tend to flog those at training because its the only time during the week we have access to the gear. We have our own jumps at home so I do tend to heavily reward contacts at training. This is only really the second time she has seen a full size dogwalk as well mind you . We have back chained a bit towards the end of last year but we only have the dogwalk/scramble alternate weeks because the club only owns one of each - the other week it goes to the beginners class. So she is certainly going great guns with sticking contact behaviors giving her limited exposure to the gear. You can see her make a real effort to remain in contact with it .

Ok some from me - here is a small amount of video taken tonight at agility training of Kenzie in action.

;) when she isn't racing off after trucks Tassie.

Ptolomy - I offered Bully one of my spares in the meantime but Pele has plenty of Cuz toys to keep her going.
-
yes Pele thought Kenz's i-squeak was very impressive. Actually Ptolomy I was showing somebody the small ones and I think we might be onto an i-squeak craze in Adelaide . Everybody is pretty impressed with them LOL.

Thanks Tiggy - I occasionally don't give Ness the recognition she deserves so felt she deserved a brag tonight. She really did give me 110% and I could have asked for no more.

Ah well I am going to post a brag in here because I am impatient to have any real trial brags and you guys are way way way off topic with all the food chat . Back from a night at training and Ness put together the UD round of her life. Only a training round but it was like she had brand new batteries in and was soooo up it wasn't funny. Hard to believe she is coming up for 10 later on this year she was bouncing around all over the place. Everything was done so enthusiastically - her seekback was lovely, her directed jumping nice, her signals heelwork was the best of her life. I did cop a couple of finishes where she thought sitting was optional and she could jump up for a hand touch instead - ooops . Maybe she might just have a UD round or two left in her yet . Go Ness monster - you have taught me a lot in your 9.5 years and without you, Kenz wouldn't be half the dog she is today when it comes to her training. Not only did you introduce me to the world of trialling but also made me some wonderful friends along the way . Fingers crossed we still have some memorable rounds left in the tank.

My brother works at WIN TV - could get him to produce them .

2 is plenty enough BCs for me BC4ME .

B: Steve you are not helping me with my New Years Resolution to reduce stress in my life.... You have a BC that is enough to not help reduce stress in your life - never mind Steve . This thread is doing wonders for reducing my stress - great form of procrastination for a Tuesday .
-
Maybe he is releasing his own line of training dvds .
-
Told yah WP - he is wanting to remove a virtual presence so that people stop asking questions .
-
I think Steve is stirring us up - have you seen the new message . Think he is getting rid of the website so he longer has to deal with our questions . Maybe he is giving dog training away - after he has dealt with huski (oh and been to Adelaide and Melbourne) .
-
Think by the time I have something worthy to brag about this thread will have gone way way way off topic .
-
Erny. I actually said something similar to Steve re the Adelaide seminar the other day. He was building frustration to increase drive. Not only does it work on dogs but seems to work in people . ETA. Wonder what the fall out is with humans if you don't achieve drive satisfication at the end .
-
huski - my friend did say least he had the decency to chop her head out of it.
-
Brooke. Thats the best one yet.
-
huski. I hear he can take still images off the video too.
-
I heard they got some new fancy tech video equipment for analysing videos .
-
Kenz says hers Rivsky pretty please and please keep them squeakie although she will trade them for Zumi . Yep Bully that is fine mine are coming back with Rivsky from Nationals.
-
Ptolomy just watch out you might start squeaking soon.
