  1. Hey RubyStar - you could come for a road trip to SA . Sure we could find an obedience trial (maybe you could come for the Royal ).
  2. I don't enter country trials in my own state let alone travel to WA for one . Besides I need a dog I can actually trial in obedience before I look about entering anything. Argh its nearly Saturday already and we have our first obedience trial of the year and Ness is sooooo under prepared .
  3. It might have been to do with the bank at my end though so who knows - it was a first and only time its been an issue . Maybe it was trying to tell me I was never going to have a dog who could pass UD so why was I buying 3 sets of utility articles .
  4. I have had issues in the past with the money leaving my account but bouncing back within 24 hours due to incorrect account name (and YES it was a WA bank account it was going to ).
  5. Hahaha you just wanted more PMs not from me . Goodonya. Was a deliberate move wasn't it .
  6. Ptolomy not sure how many people who you PMd who don't know your last name but I just got a PM from one asking what account name to put in . Some of us obviously know and I am not sure if you sent the same PM to everybody (presuming you did). Some people might need that information clarified.
  7. Oh bugger I better get PMing then . Just sent another one Ptolomy . ETA. I am really wondering if your running a ness blocking filter on them though because responses seem to be few and far between - are you sure they are all arriving .
  8. So Ptolomy did it work for you - are you feeling loved with lots of PMs from people other than me .
  9. Rivsky better have enough room in her suitcase - hmm lets see she has to fit 5 small i-squeaks (plus her i-squeaks, plus other people's i-squeaks), a Ciderbear, a Lexie monster, a Scoota - sorry Ptolomy that just leaves you with Beans and I am sure we could possibly find room for her as well .
  10. Nope its true she doesn't love my PMs :D .
  11. Think Ptolomy doesn't love my PMs anymore ;) .
  12. Ok another quick agility update from me - Took her to a new club tonight just for something different. Decided 1 night of agility a week isn't really enough and I wanted her to have some exposure to other gear. I opted to put her into intermediate as I wasn't sure what she would do with the different gear or the different environment. Also thought short definite sequence stuff might be better for her then long courses. Well some things went well - her SLS behavior held up nicely - she gave me a lovely 4 jump lead out . Her contacts - we had a see-saw and a scramble. Her first scramble she stopped at the top and crept into her 2o/2o. The second time she went straight into a 2o/2o at the end with no creeping and didn't slide like she did at training last night. Her see-saw was great. Its a much heavier see-saw then our club one but no issue with doing probably a faster and more confident see-saw then she does on the lighter one. Was able to work through her weaving issue - once she understood that I wanted her to weave like I did with the ones she is use to (these ones are stick in the ground and look different) she was driving through them nicely. My only real disappointment is she is probably not as fast as I know she can be. Now I am not sure if that was a combination of new environment (although she would play tug with me) or just that she is still lacking confidence. She was also only jumping 400 tonight so I guess I thought she might move a bit quicker.
  13. Just a heads up mine mine went through to my junk folder so if you can't find the news update thing Steve just posted you might have to look there - have now added it to my address book so it shouldn't happen again.
  14. Yeah bugger off you WA people - go back to your WA thread in general . ETA. The link in case you have forgotten where to find it
  15. Me - er nope - Ptolomy is suppose to let me know when there is a decent judge judging . ETA. My UD trialling dog is currently free to any home who wants her .
  16. RubyStar - its yours if you decide you want it .
  17. Agree both my two were fine with the tablets and would take them as though a treat but youngster has issues with the chews and has to be supervised closely else she might only eat half.
  18. ValleyCBR - will get back to you if RubyStar doesn't want it. Its a spare hardcopy autographed version. Can send it over with somebody to take to the nationals or you can pay postage.
  19. Anything by Greg Derrett, Susan Garrett is worth getting a hold of. Moe's Strenfel's Agility Foundation dvd is also a good one.
  20. Nope sorry no videos tonight - hardly anybody showed up so we were all running flat out . Very productive night though and have a very flat Kenzie .
  21. Thanks everybody for your assistance - I did end up running the sequences I had decided on when we did the agility stuff but I made sure I broke it down more and rewarded frequently. We worked contacts/reinforcing contacts separately. In the OJ course I walked it with a purpose and made sure to reward frequently - she struggled with bits so we broke it down into chunks she could manage and I helped her out by running it as a normal course not trying for the distance challenge. Thanks again for the feedback .
  22. BC4ME - or is it that it didn't trigger because last time it didn't result in sufficient release of the appropriate chemicals to make the stress worthwhile . ETA. Steve somebody pointed out to me that your website listed under your profile is only listed as www.pro.com.au. Not sure if you realized or if its deliberate.
