Need that one for Ness but might have to add - this is front......wait here until advised otherwise :p .

;) yep I am certainly mega proud of her and she got spoiled all day while we were at the agility trial because she wasn't entered in anything. Kenz hmmm it was a little mixed - no quallies and all I can say is bloody BC bars . But she had fun and guess there is always the next trial .

Thanks Tiggy for the complement re Ness. Its funny if anything she is getting more enthusiastic as she gets older - maybe she might have a UD title in her yet .

Obedience And Agility Training Together
ness replied to Rileys mum's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Both my girls train and compete in both agility and obedience. My older one has her CDX/ADM/JDM/ADO/JDO and is trialling in UD. The youngster is trialling in agility but will also train in obedience. The only issue I find is a lack of time to devote to both sports but then my expectations and standards are pretty high. -
Huge congrats FHRP . And I agree that is an awesome pic .

Video link of Ness's Open round from today for all those who want a look .

Yeah sorry bedazzledx2 I shoulda mentioned it to you . Brooklyn and Scoota both did you guys proud though and it was so nice to see them working again in person and doing so well. Somebody who had been at the Royal in open commented on both Scoota and Brookie and on how well they worked. You both have every right to be thrilled with the performance your boys put in. Figured I'd leave you to brag about it here rather than spoil all the glory. Way to go Brookie and Scoota.

Yep she sure did get a jackpot . The judge was Kuipers or somebody like that - an interstate judge. Ness wasn't very use to having to sit patiently in front for more than about 3 seconds while the judge walked in behind and then asked for you to finish your dog. That and we decided that a DB must be retrieved by picking it up on the end . I had to laugh though really her finishes were very nice considering I lost track of the number she anticipated (think it was 3 :p :D ). We did come home with 3 huge cups so I'll have to hope I can get a photo before I have to give the 2 over to the club on Tuesday night.

Back from the interclub Obedience challenge where the old girl Ness was selected for the Open class. She was positively feral and the judge found it hard to believe she would be 10 shortly. Anyway blow me away but she managed to win the class . Hmmm we lost way to many points for anticipating finishes - bloody dog but she was the best of the lot and had so much fun in there . Way to go Ness monster .

I have a 1 min 40 edit of bibbidy boppidy boo that I used for my comp routine if you want a slightly shorter version.

Hmm let me think - will be back shortly with a suggestion . My next heelwork to music possibility is Mission Impossible I think. What about Supercalafragalisticexpealadious for an impromptu HTM. Real bugger it was the same day as the GSD agility trial else we could have had 4 dogs doing demos.
-
Yeah sorry Piper . Maybe I should have dropped Ness off and you could have just made something up with all three .
-
Well done Lincoln and ValleyCBR .
-
No its not fair Tiggy - I'd tried to steal him on the way to the car but think Ptolomy was keeping far to closer eye on him. Think Kenz woulda taken Brookie home though .

Scoota won Open. Brookie was stresed and sat up in the drop stay. Go boys though they did WA proud and was so nice to see some quality work with quality handling. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it and hope one day to have a dog work as nicely and to handle as nicely in the ring. Was nice to see you both Ptolomy and Bedazzledx2 - I think I better not leave quite so long until we catch up again . And lovely to meet you ValleyCBR - wish you all the best with the showing.
-
Just back from the Adelaide Royal where Bedazzledx2 gorgeous boy Brooklyn won UD :D . Scoota worked well too but both boys really struggled with articles tonight (as did a number of the other dogs). Back again tomorrow night for Open.
-
Hmm RubyStar I have a brand new Water Wubba - would you like to buy it  .
-
Well Ptolomy and Bedazzledx2 have apparently arrived safe and well in Adelaide and it appears they bought some of the nice Perth weather with them. Very appreciative of a day with no rain.
-
must be a BC thing AD I reckon Kenz would just keep going and then pull off an obstacle and decide to tell me off for not being fast enough  .
-
Wow very impressive Vickie .
-
What ValleyCBR its your Rocky Road - maybe you need to save me some for Thursday . Ah well I'll just make sure I have stocked up on twisties for Scoota.
-
Ptolomy so do I need to rush out today and stock up on chocolate and wine for your visit .
-
Nah your probably right the forecast by Thursday is for more rain but well it is the Royal show what do you expect .
-
ValleyCBR nice bright blue skies and gorgeous sunshine here today .
