join the club Vickie. We are presently working on handler not being an optional accessory item on course. That will teach me to try and run her when I should have stayed home in bed. Ok I got a dreaded training question while we are a little quiet. How the hell do you guys train the infamous tyre. We had a tyre set up last night as the first jump on the course. I had set Kenz up and done a lead out - first time through the course we had no hassles. Second time I lined her up and released her through the tyre and she took off way to early and nearly hung herself on it. I got told its a training issue that she mistimed it. I know there have been plenty of discussions about tyres on the agility list but what do you guys think - is it an issue that could be avoided by training?

And what was wrong with going to Adelaide instead .

nope they aren't the 2 Ptolomy was referring to - I told her she can't count!!!!! I can count at least 5 .

Have worked out its better not to whinge JulesP and just set about organising seminars that you might want to attend and actually push for them to happen. Amazing when you want something badly enough how you can eventually find a way for it to happen. Selfish but so very true. Still would pack up and move to WA in a heartbeat though . Everytime I go and visit I am sad to come home again .

Agree with what Tiggy said - posted in training but Ptolomy Cider's round was seriously beautiful - well done and all the best with her in the future.

Yep my two like her although being Borders all the grooming they get is when mum has been occasionally too lazy to trim feet and takes them to Elise to get there feet trimmed .

Ok guys maybe you can answer this I can get wonderful duration on a nose target but when I go to put my hand out wide dog doesn't get it. Any ideas? Did they mention anything about that.

Can she maintain heel while you step sideways/backwards etc. I would go back to insisting on criteria one step at a time. So can she stay in correct position for 1 step C/T. 2 steps C/T et.

Hmm Tiggy I ended up ordering a 22" coat but with a size 20 girth. What did you measure Banjo at now I am a little worried. I measured Kenz and she was well under the standard for the 22" so I sent the details through and they said order the slightly smaller one. Mine hasn't been processed yet as I only ordered it over the weekend. I could possibly change mine and order a 22 and then send it over to you in return for the 20.

Way to go Bedazzledx2 - Brookie is an absolute super trooper he just continues to bring in the quallies and very nice quallies at that :D . And of course go Ptolomy and Cider - better watch out Brookie you might be in for some stiff competition once Cider gets into Open .
