  1. Poor boy Ptolomy - give him a cuddle from me and hugs to you - hope he is better soon. Thanks for letting us know.
  2. :p the same goes for Bloody BCs and there idea of what is wanted but when that happens I just hold the Toller bits responsible .
  3. This came through on the SA Obedience list and I suspect its the details of the club Jule's is now attending: Fleurieu branch of Southern Districts* Port Eliot Oval, Tottenham Court Road, Port Eliot Obedience only, Monday evenings; Contact : Jocelyn Bayly - [email protected]
  4. Well done on passing with Rommy jr_inoz I decided I was totally buggered and it was to warm to be hanging around for much longer so I headed off. Not Piper but yep she would have been the second judge that was judging you yesterday.
  5. Congrats everybody on there results this weekend - too many to list everybody for fear of leaving somebody out!!!!
  6. My thoughts would be if you can find a good canine chiro or physio then I would go down that path ASAP. I know with my older girl until I knew about these things she would pull up sore and a friend interstate finally talked me into finding and getting an appointment for her and it all sorted itself out relatively easily - especially if its not something you regularly do. Hope you can get to the bottom of your Rottie's lameness. Its hard when you know they are high drive and will work through whatever pain they have - when they are laid up you know they are really bad.
  7. I just ordered a "Back on Track" coat for my youngster to keep her shoulder warm while recovering from injury but they do both a mesh version that they can wear indoors and a weatherproof waterproof version. http://www.backontrackproducts.com.au/pain...ine-products/2/
  8. My BCs both have L soft crates or 36" crates and neither of them are large as far as BCs go.
  9. Well done RubyStar with both Millie and Ruby - all the best tomorrow too .
  10. I have a 10.5 year old lower energy BC and a 3 year old high energy BC and they both co-exist happily enough. Sometimes I feel sorry for the youngster that the older one won't play with her but thats not necessarily a bad thing for a performance dog. If your intending on training for a sport then you really want them to find you the most exciting thing in the world anyway rather than playing with other dogs and self exercising. You just need to make sure the more energetic dog gets enough mental stimulation and teach them to chill and don't allow the energetic one to hassle the others when they are resting. My older one will spend her days sleeping whereas the youngster is often outside doing other things. Occasionally in the evening the youngster will hassle the older one (especially at the moment) but then I will usually take the young one out and do a training session or something or play a game with her.
  11. My parents got the lawn guys out to quote on some synthetic artificial lawn and they were given a sample of that and we have that in front of the dog door outside. Helps keep some of the dirt out of the house. Then we have a towel inside the dog door when its wet. Although admittedly ours is coming of a paved surface.
  12. Looks good PAX - seemed like a longish heel pattern for a Novice round and you can see how tough the conditions were - well done again.
  13. caffy that just makes him even more endearing hang on now to make plans to dognap him.
  14. Hmm caffy ok I'll come steal Snazzy. He would fit in here and I wouldn't even have to change breeds .
  15. yeah well my view is there is nothing quite as good as the original but I suppose a Cider clone would be better then nothing at all . I haven't met her in person and I still love her. Have to say the more I watch of PAX's Prix to (was watching a video of him playing frisbee that K9 Pro posted) the more I could be quite taken with a Malinois too.
  16. Way to go PAX & Prix fantastic stuff - thanks posting Vickie and yes I think there are a few people who would steal Cider .
  17. Think Cider was a little bit overwhelmed by the experience from what Ptolomy said. A royal is always a tough gig and especially even more so for a baby dog on her first trip interstate to trial. And yes I guess this means Brooklyn is no longer going cheap - will have to break the news to Kenz as she was hoping for an air dropped Brooklyn on the return flight home
  18. Word from Ptolomy at the Sydney Royal: Brooklyn and Bedazzledx2 win Open and also take out Winner of Winners. Way to go Brooklyn - what a good boy he is! :cheer: :cheer:
  19. Brooklyn wins winner of winners at the Sydney Royal. Well done Brooklyn and Bedazzledx2.
  20. News in from Ptolomy and Bedazzledx2 in Sydney - Brookie won Open - way to go Brookie.
  21. Wahoo news in from Sydney - Brookie won Open - good boy Brooklyn.
  22. Word from Ptolomy: Both boys are going very cheaply both failed udx and ud bugger.
  23. Yep I went to one day of his seminar when he was here and really enjoyed it.
  24. Yes to trial you would need to be a member of Dogs Victoria (or another Australian canine association). People are normally members in the state they reside but I guess some people have multiple memberships in other States and you can trial in any state of Australia so long as you are a member of an ANKC state canine association.
