  1. I only know one down here in Sydney but if you contacted her she might be able to help you with contacts , or even give you some advice.
  2. I picked up some lamb Big Dog patties and my girl had her first one last night .....and she loved it So much better than the Dr B ones Her poo this morning was much better too(TMI) ;)
  3. i took a box back to the vet last week. It was supposed to be lamb but it was very light in colour and gave my dog the runs....therefore it was chicken which she is very sensitive too. They told me that the processing plant had been moved and they were still working out how fine to make the patty. i don't like the new packaging...you can't peel it like you used to be able to and the box is too square to fit in my freezer. I was going to start using the Canine County( or Country) but someone told me they were going out of business. If any has other suggestions I would be grateful
  4. oops! this is who I meant! but I see you've already ordered
  5. Pet Network. Good prices and quick postage
  6. There is a large fully fenced one at Wahroonga near the Hampden rd shops in East Wahroonga. Sorry I can't remember the actual street. It seems very popular and there seems to be a few larger dogs that go. We have an off lead area at our local oval in North Turramurra but it's not fenced and everyone seems to let their dogs on the cricket pitch
  7. I was given a brace that was similar to that to try for my girl who has HD It came from Helen Nicholson who is a canine physiotherapist, but I think it was more suited to a larger dog and we weren't able to use it.
  8. I have used Mark Hocking at Gladesville Vet,Angus Martin at Hornsby and ?Keith Phillips at Little Jilliby. My girl has HD and I find that acupuncture really helps her
  9. Onsntillflash, Tried to PM you but it's saying you can't accept any more messages
  10. I have a Cavalier who cannot have chicken of any sort...cooked,raw or in kibble. When she used to have an upset tummy, i gave her white fish and potato and mixed in some Protexin just to give her gut a rest and to line it
  11. My girl is called Keilani which is Hawaiian for "adored one" I call her Lani .
  12. Re: the UTI ...my girl was going through this and i started her on Cranberry tablets and have never had another problem. this was about 18 months ago. She had a very high PH level and struvite crystals
  13. My girl has HD and only extends one leg behind her so she is half a frog She does sit a bit squiffy too
  14. I trained my dog to use steps. She isn't allowed to jump as she has HD
  15. There is a vet at Hornsby who does acupuncture. i would use Helen Nicholson at K9 physio who goes to VSC at north Ryde. she is a brilliant canine physio Mark Hocking at gladesville is very good for trigger point therapy We have been to them all PM if you need more info
  16. My Cavalier can't have any chicken.....either cooked, raw or in dry food. Gives her the yellow foamy squirts
  17. I just give her the ones from the health food store. She weighs about 12 kgs amd i give her 5,000 ? units
  18. I have been using something else that attaches to the collar and found this to be much more effective. Will look for the name when I go home
  19. I give my girl cranberry tablets as she was continually having UTI's,high Ph level and struvite crystals but no stones. After 2 weeks everything was back to normal and no problems since...which has been 18 months
  20. I would recommend Helen Nicholson. She is a great animal physio and has been really good with my girl who has HD I don't have her details with me but I think she goes under the name Animal Physiotherapy Services
  21. I also used boiled potatos and then mash them...but no milk or butter
  22. My girl who gets really bad trigger points is exactly the same, especially if she has been active and then lays down for a while . She limps and is very stiff. We are very lucky and have a vet who does trigger point therapy, and this fixes her. Anti inflammatories have no effect as it is not a joint issue but soft tissue
  23. Yes there is. I read up on them and they did kind of fit Zedley. The usual reason for night terrors is an underlying illness. He has been checked up the do dah and we can find nothing physically wrong with him. He has a thyroid problem and has been on medication for a few years, so it is not that. Have his thyroid levels been tested recently?
  24. My girl started to limp on her front legs but it was found that she had HD and because she was overcompensating, she ended up with trigger points in her front leg
