  1. that looks great. I have a outward hound bumbag that I love, but I can't fit phone, keys and treats in it. I purchased a sensible harness from Clean Run & it arrived last week, but hadn't had alot of time to use it. (have been doing training mostly inside once the kids are in bed) took him out the front today to give it a whirl & it's much nicer for him. Although he is still coughing after he has tried pulling in it . He really is a terrible puller and we've been working on alot of focus games to help him look for me a bit more. He really has the attention span of a gnat LOL, but is slowly getting better. He will be 7 months next week, not too sure how much he weighs, last month it was about 14 kg. Not sure how much more he will grow, but I'm thinking he should be almost at his adult height now. I'll see if I can get some new photos of him & post them. Hope everyone's puppies are going well
  2. Pie I thought the same of Murphy, he had ripped the bottom off another flat bed (wasn't that cheap either) But he has never tried to eat this one at all. Here is another one of Murphy all stretched out. Funny that he sleeps like this, my old girl would always sneeze when lying on her back.
  3. sorry it took me awhile to work out how to post it I got mine on sale for 20% off RRP when you register your product they send your dog a birthday present every year. Who says you get nothing for free these days.
  4. I got the Cuddler for Murphy - it's the medium size. He loves it
  5. That is my number # hate. The people across the road allow their dog off lead just around their house. They were in their drive way, had their gates open, I was putting something into the boot of my car (thankfully my kids were already in the car) when the dog came bolting down their drive across the road, up my neighbours driveway not 2 meters from where I was standing. The guy had no way of calling it off now I'm really paranoid of letting my kids collect the mail or just grabbing something out of the car. They take it to the park (two doors up) without a lead too. Maybe if you phone each time it charges you they might do something about it.
  6. OMG all these puppy pictures are making my clucky. I was just looking back over Murphy's little puppy pictures, he was so little, they grow way too fast. He seems to have settled down a bit, in the last few weeks. He is still way over the top when we go out, one day he might just focus on me
  7. I had my Brittany pup on it, he never really seemed to like it very much - he's not really a fan of the red meats - much prefers chicken or fish. I was excited when I saw that they had the different flavours, but they're only for adult dogs. I wish they'd offer more with the puppy food.
  8. Words are beyond me, I have some rather colourful words that I'd like to use to describe this person. I doubt that they would want to part with any money, they seem to have the thought that (regardless of what they have done - or didn't do) the pups are theirs.

    Puppy Class

what area are you in? The one that I went to wasn't that flash - pretty much a free for all wish I'd never gone now
  10. slightly off topic, but I used to use this when I competing on my dressage horse - for both of us. Found it great.
  11. I'm not surprised at the response from the dog owner sadly people are so rude these days. It's really not good enough though.
  12. I got a great one from Amazon, it worked out much cheaper including the freight to ship it over. http://www.amazon.com/Kyjen-Outward-Hound-Quick-Access/dp/B0081XINDE/ref=sr_1_7?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1371773502&sr=1-7&keywords=training+bag
  13. Given the babies age, they are going to be soon very mobile (and they are fast) I'd be worried that this & being separated from everyone, would escalate frustration in the dog. Most mothers of young children are tired & I would personally be concerned that I would one day stuff up - not lock the gate correctly.

    Raiden

    I am so very sorry
  15. Our cat used to sleep with our last dog and would also play in the back yard with her. The cat thinks it's a dog & will chase the ball and run after the kids when they're playing the garden. Then we got Murphy. When he was a puppy the cat would climb into the play pen with him & of course jump out when she'd had enough. Now Murphy just wants to chase her, she gives him a few good swipes - but obviously not with claws out because he just keeps going until she runs away. Sometimes when Murphy hasn't noticed her the cat will try and rub up against him and then it starts. If I am doing training with him the cat comes out to taunt him, I'm sure she knows that he is on a lead LOL. Hoping that one day we will have peace between them
  16. Oh my goodness Lhok I am so very sorry, I wish I could say something that would help. Please know that I am thinking of you & Raiden.
  17. I'm so very sorry that you have to make this choice & hope that your little boy is alright. I had to make the same decision when our cat attacked my son & did some real damage, it was heart breaking but it was for the best. I don't think anyone can make the choice for you, go gently.
  18. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dog-Training-Treat-N-Ball-Bag-Treat-Pouch-each-sale-helps-a-rescue-dog-/181159778321?pt=AU_Pet_Supplies&hash=item2a2df6d811&_uhb=1 what about this one - looks pretty similar
  19. OMG he is divine. I hope Russell gets to go to his forever home soon (unless he's going to be a rescue fail  )
  20. hahahaha, very cute. She's got a good tug on her
  21. bugger I only just received an order from them (including the postage) last week - always the way. I have a petstock one that is very similar to that biscuit buddy but it clips on with a clip like what is on a lead. It was a promotional thing from them - maybe she could go and ask if they still have them??
  22. Oh cassie you really need to put a video up of that hehehehehe Murphy is almost 6 months, we've stopped going to dog school at the moment and have started having one on one lessons from a trainer. What a massive difference it has made. I have zero focus when we are out and just in two weeks are able to get so much more from him out the front of our house - even manage to call him off the cat I think I was expecting so much from him after having our beautiful old girl, you forget what puppies are like and it must be so much harder for him be raised in a house with 3 young, loud, fast kids. Something that my old girl didn't have to deal with until she was much older & already well trained. I love reading about all these puppies - well done to everyone that has done so well at shows.
  23. I'm so sad to hear about Bobbie. Rascal I just want to thank you for giving him what was probably the best two weeks of his life before he went. RIP Bobbie
  24. I had a big double play pen set up with the crate inside for when I had to go out for longer periods but didn't want him crated. I just had one side with paper for him to go to the toilet on & his food, water & crate up the other end. I would just give him great things to eat/chew for those periods.
