There's someone on the forum that makes tug toys, maybe you can buy them from her ;) Rhino hide, although probably in short supply, would be good. Heya- yep thats me that makes them lol.

That seems to be the case with Summer. for example- i just had to change my bed cos she piddled on it whilst playing with my other young dog. I put her back in the crate and a few whinges i just carried on and shes asleep now and im in the study across the hall. Would any of you suggest a puppy pen or continue with the crate?

Thanks TN shes getting better - i think i was losing patience cos i was so tired lol. Im going to try a bit longer tonight- sh should wake me by whingeing i guess. Im not sleeping very well.

She did better last night. But I was up every 2 hours- do people think she could hold on a bit longer than that? She's 8 weeks old, i'm exhausted getting up that often

shes howling again- anyone would think im pulling her toenails out.

lol absolutely gorgeous. Another question guys- not for my pup- but someone else i know. Those stuffed toys with a heartbeat, where to get them and what are they called?

Please some advice- before i go nuts!! She's howling like a Beagle! and the neighbours must think im so mean.

i gave in and put her on my bed for a while- have changed the bed to a soft pillow with velour outer and shes gone straight back to sleep but in the crate,

Anyone got any reviews on the petstages toys?

Hey TN, shes got a few toys in there and some blankets, her dinner, which shes not really eating, and some water, the tv is on. The crate is in my room. I'm in the study across from my bedroom- shes stopped now, and i think shes asleep, but all my other dogs never did this, they were so good and easy, hence my heart breaking when she howls and cries! i feel so mean- and my housemate doesnt approve. ETA: started again

Any recommendations where to get things online?

Im trying to be strong but she's howling- and its breaking my heart. I have covered the crate with a blanket. The thing is it's upsetting all of the other dogs in the household.

I make tugtoys so all is good on that front- thought though as she is teething and learning her limits something hard would be good? I am crate training her as well- an invaluable item crates! My other dogs are crate trained too.

Miss Puppy arrived yesterday and has taken to gnawing on my hand like a bone- i have given her a few toys but i am thinking perhaps a puppy kong might be best for her? What do people suggest?

8 weeks old- Irish red and white setter Hi Periau, I would go for a Lupine adjustable half martingale. They have a life time warranty on the leads and collars, from what I remember of setters, they do love to chew.. The hardware is outstanding and they are adjustable. I have never heard of a martingale used on a pup. Is this common practice?
