Awww look at at Banshee You are doing the right thing by her Jo .... she will always love you and remember you no matter where she goes :D Give it a chance and if it works out great! but if it doesnt at least you have given her that chance. I could never rescue/foster because i couldnt handle it .. thats why i volunteer at a shelter and come home and not get attached

I dont think i can make it to this one.... i leave for an OS holiday the day after so i will be busy running around doing packing etc When i get back the weather will be warming up so look forward to it :D

What a beautiful old girl she was :D Our Husky died on the 4th June.. she was 13 :D we sure do miss her here.

About a week after Kira was pts we got a card from our vet and everyone personally signed it including the receptionists and when we picked up her ashes they were so kind to us it was lovely.

Try owning a Sibe omg there was hair everywhere and we had to vaccuum everyday and even now 3 weeks after she went to the rainbow bridge we are still picking up stray hairs But we found the dryer the best way but we also used duct tape for last minute emergencies.

Hi Yellowgirl sorry to hear that Banshee is going through a tough time .... but if it is any comfort to you i had a Foxie X and she got Pancreatitis and she died this year at the grand old age of 17! She was on medication and a special diet and she was fine :p

We just went through this 2 weeks ago today in fact .... Quite often over the years on here i have heard people asking how will you know when its time.... With Kira we knew by the look in her eyes and her body language so we knew that she was suffering and it was time to give her, her wings It is very very sad but we got her ashes back on Tuesday so she is back home with us ;) Hope everything works out for the best for Cooper

Kira is finally in her final resting place We picked up her ashes today with a tear shed ... she has pride of place in our china cabinet

I am so sorry for your loss :rolleyes: There seems to be a few going to the rainbow bridge lately.... We had to do the same thing on Friday

MM your post made me cry! happy tears though Today things have settled down and things arent so raw... had a terrible sleep last night and today we have been getting rid of her medications etc. He has kept her collar and lead , water bowl, bed though ... i guess in time it will get better Thanks everyone, it means a lot to us
