Kaos is a foot licker I made it happen and now wish i didnt. When i got a cast of my leg that i had on for 11 weeks i didnt have much feeling, she would lick the cream off my feet and i would get a slight feeling in my foot, so let her go. Now the second i take my socks off i have to run from her

http://www.centralwesterndaily.com.au/news/local/news/general/online-sales-go-to-the-dogs/2333964.aspx Online sales go to the dogs BY TRACEY PRISK 25 Oct, 2011 04:00 AM AN Orange dog lover wants to warn others of the pitfalls of buying animals online, after a dog she intended to use as a guard dog turned out to be deaf. The woman, who declined to be named, said the blue cattle dog puppy, Sooty, had been vet checked and vaccinated before she was picked up from a breeder in the Riverina area. She said the dog seemed in perfect health when her 21-year-old daughter picked her up from the seller. However, after having the dog for a day it became obviously that she was profoundly deaf. The previous owners said they were unaware of the dog’s medical condition and were reluctant to take her back. Unable to perform guard-dog duties, the woman is now contemplating giving Sooty away. “[she] could possibly sleep through any noise a burglar might make while carrying my TV out the door,” she said. “At the moment I’ve got a dilemma over whether I should keep her or not. “She’s going to be exceptionally hard to give up.” The woman has put flyers in local vet clinics in an attempt to find a suitable home. In the flyer the woman describes Sooty as “very intelligent, happy and affectionate”. “She will make a great companion for someone and would fit in perfectly in any family,” she said. The woman said she would be happy to re-house Sooty with someone who has a fenced backyard, has experience with dogs and already has a dog that can “be her ears”.

most of the time.. i hate offlead dogs who rush us and people who think they are above the law. I have a dog aggressive dog and i can never totally enjoy a walk. I always have to be on the lookout for off lead dogs

Sorry - Yet Another "what Breed Should They Get" Thread
Teebs replied to jr_inoz's topic in General Dog Discussion
better them knowing what they want over getting a dog that they wont groom and who ends up matted and horrible. I hate grooming and brushing and this is a deal breaker for me, i dont want a dog that has a long coat as i am not huge into brushing. -
I work in a pet supply store and have been in tears many times with customers when they have told me their animal has passed on. I cant hide i am upset, even if i have never met the person or the pet and no one has given me weird looks yet

Yeah, mine were a bit freaked out about whole eggs. They still have trouble with them so of course i give it to them so i can have a laugh :D

Atlas is good and will eat most things but Kaos cracks me up. She hates roo and i love getting bits and chucking it to her so she catches it, she will pull the funniest face and spit it out She also gets scared of some food... i threw a prawn at her the other night, she caught it, did the icky face and spat it out, then sniffed it... but took off with her tail between her legs! Growled and barked and wouldnt go near it... and sat there glaring at it. Once Atlas ate it she was fine. I have a heap of cat food at the moment and i was rotating the new stuff with the old stuff. Kaos was bugging me so i got a cup full and put it out for her.. i watched as she used her nose to spread it on the ground, then went and ate all the good kibble and left all the Science Diet (the cats hate it too  )

I have a few...

awwwwwwwww did you get my note yet?

I am not a breeder With kaos she was the only one there, not much of a choice With Atlas i had a pick between 3 dogs, 2 reds and him. I was going to go with the red as i didnt like the Tri Colour, and the breeder wanted me to take a red so he could show and breed later. Every time i went to see the pups the Tri came over to me, none of the others did. I was still set on taking the red boy (and he was actually named Katlas because he was going to be mine) but the last time i went to see the pups the little black one came over to me again... so i changed my mind :D I have colour preferences in my animals, but if the perfect dog showed up that was a different colour i would take them. Colour isnt everything to me.

Bull Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. No other breed will do :D (ok, i want a DDB.. then i will be happy :D )

I have just been thinking back on all my pets but dont have much to judge by. The only girls we have had are Kaos, Suzie our boxer who was PTS when i was 8 and Spook mums dog who i dont have much to do with. The boys are all 100% more cuddly than the girls, but no idea if that is just because we have had more boys? At has to sleep touching me, where Kaos only sleeps on the bed if it is cold and she wants to warm up. Might have to get some more girls so i can study this a bit better :D

my boy doesn't mark everything :D

I have always liked boys better than girls. saying that i will always have one of each sex though
