maybe ask her if she is keeping any of his brothers or sisters to use later one? that way you get your puppy, get him desexed and love him and when you are ready for a new pet you can find something related? :) I have a SBT and she is the best dog, never once thought about breeding her, i have helped raise litters from friends (reg breeds, dont stress everyone!) and it is HARD work. i would never want to do it.

Yeah, i often think i am safe if anything happens, but if it came down to it, i dont think i would be. At wouldnt protect me at all, maybe kaos would? Hope i never have to find out if they will or not!

I hate that you have to pay each year. I got my plates for my 18th birthday. The are the white and black ones with 3 letters and 3 numbers, I have wanted the plates since i was about 10! They are not a full word, they are nothing fancy.. Mum and dad wanted to get my brother the same a few years ago, his name and the same numbers as me and they have changed it to a yearly fee. I loved it when i was in WA, so many different plates, i wish we had more option around here. Did see a car a few months ago with the numberplate '2' Dad was so excited :laugh:

I really dont see an issue with asking for price. Not everyone can afford a lot of money and why stuff everyone around and jump through hoops if you know you cant afford the price? I have always asked price up front, and gotten each of my pets i have asked about... Never had a breeder turn me away for asking. I need to know so i know if i can afford the pet or not... I dont sell animals, but i work in a pet supply shop. So many people come in and talk about their pet using the word "it" i will cut them off and ask if it is male or female and what is "It's" name? dont get people who get a pet and dont give a shit about it

I met a bulldog once at a kennel i ran. Horrible dog. Nasty as would would try to rip into anyone he could. The second you turned your back on him he would try to grab your leg to bite. Only management were allowed to handle him because of how dangerous he was. He was told not to come back. This IS the issue, it isnt the breed at all, it is the deed. Just because you think a dog looks cute does not mean it is.

Hi JLD, i did post in the Bully thread but not sure if you saw it. Please really think about this Bull Terriers are not easy pups to raise, hell mine isnt even an easy Adult to raise! I really think you need to have another think about this. There is no way i would get a second dog while the first is still a puppy, if it was me i would be training the pup and waiting until i had the baby and got into a routine before bringing in what can be a very full on demanding dog. good luck with whatever you pick.

my dogs love everyone, so yeah i guess if they DIDNT like someone i would keep an eye on that person... but that has yet to happen!

Should have arranged to come for a visit and play with the puppies.. next litter :laugh: I think DOL is a fantastic place, I have met many great friends via here, I also got a job, learned not to trust everyone (or is that anyone.. ;) ) and how to have a thicker skin. I agree, out of all the forums this one is hands down the best, there is just a great community feel to it. You know that if there is something you need help with, post here and someone will help you out!

What shuts me is the idiots who get dogs after thru move in knowing they can't have them A few years ago people in my units got a husky puppy. Barked all night, they never bothered training it and they got kicked out. Dog ended at the pound. 2 days ago I heard barking allll night. Checked it out and another lot of people have s lab puppy, only a matter of time till they get kicked out Feel so sorry for the dogs. And am terrified someone is going to think it is my dogs barking
