I thought this was a load of crap until I actually tried it! Got out some for a customer to try and it worked!! As for the others - they are meant to be designed for that breed - different shaped kibble, different things added if there is a known health issue in that breed that can be helped by diet.

I don't walk kaos much either, now I have a baby it's too stressful walking her and the pram. I've done it once and we got rushed at by a dog. The odd time OH is able to we will both go, but that's probably once a month

I'm a pet sitter and have turned jobs down because I believed the dogs were not safety contained. One dog was in a great yard but could be aggressive with strangers, owners had never left it alone before and were not sure if he would try to get out, they ended up using a kennel as I wouldn't do it. It comes down to knowing your dog

I'm with Steve. I have a DA dog and hate hate hate going for walks, I'm sick of people telling me it's ok because their dog is friendly. It's horrible that because of people who can't follow the law my girl is locked up more. I know what will happen if someone's SWF runs up and my girl hurts it (who will get the blame? The cute little friendly dog off lead or the stafford who is on the lead following the law who has issues with other dogs?)

Yep. My girl isnt good with other dogs, I don't care how big or small the other dog is or how friendly they are, if they come near us it could end badly. I have a Right to walk my dog without having other dogs walk up to us. I also have reported a cat, stupid thing attacked my dog twice then me one day walking home.

Yep! I make a note of addresses or will call the council on the spot if I can't see where the dog is from

Sometimes you have to pick your battles, I can understand not wanting to get involved, as much as it sucks you need to do what's best for you

My partner works horrible long shifts. The days he gets off he usually sleeps and we do family things together. When he can he will take bub for a it for me. By that stage my free time is usually for a catch up on sleep or to wash my hair, not walk the dog! I know things will get back to 'normal' bub is sleeping longer and longed each week, I just wanted to speak up for the people who have had issues and who thought the right thing was to rehome. It can be very hard to see the light sometimes and yeah I do get that some may just dump a dog because they can't be bothered, but i bet there are a lot of people who have regretted it later. My dog is happy, she has plenty to do and she isn't going anywhere, I just wanted to speak up from the other side

Wow wasnt expecting all these replies. I was only trying to explain that it isn't always easy for everyone and you can never know how things will work out As I said, I know things will get easier and better :)
