  1. Ballam Park is huge, I think you're allowed dogs off leash and if you are, I'd go there.
  2. I'm Tess32 for those who haven't realised...I had a self imposed doliday :) Anyway, introducing Rainer :) Not the best photo and doesn't do him justice, but it's hard to get the others out of the way at the moment! He is gorgeous and smoochy and fitting in well with the others.
  3. Great, at least there are lots of ideas. I think the puppy pen around us would be good as he is the kind who likes to run after balls etc. I'll also bring a laptop and he can watch at least one movie or so. It's just for the times I might be just me, hopefully my OH will be able to come to most shows anyway, depends on work.
  4. Yeah that is a great idea, he can easily play etc in there and won't feel constrained.
  5. Yeah I know...it's just every dog he's met so far he's been allowed to hug because they've been here at the house. He's only 21 months so he's not quite able to understand everything yet. Luckily he's gentle with dogs, easier to control a gentle dog loving toddler than one who hits/pokes.
  6. Yeah that's true Kate.... I do want to do it, Ewan LOVES dogs and I think he'll really enjoy it, the problem I will have is curbing his enthusiasm so he doesn't go around trying to hug every dog he sees!
  7. I have the possiblity of having a dog to show again soon but I'm trying to figure out how hard it will be if I go by myself with my 2 year old. Has anyone done it? Most times I can probably take his older sister or my OH will come, but if I can't...? He's not the type to sit down for looong periods.
  8. They don't look overexposed on my monitor either. I think #3 is a lovely shot :)
  9. Does anyone know of any good groomers in Geelong that don't have a big waiting list? I have a rescue collie that really needs some grooming and it's a bit beyond my abilities with such matting.

    Puppy Preschools

I think they are good for people who don't have much experience with puppies/dogs and socialisation or people new to dogs. If you are an experienced dog owner, they are optional.
