That's what they are there for. I'd rather have a dead dog than a dead cop. The dogs are well looked after generally, and every now and then, they get hurt. Just like every now and then, a human police officer gets hurt. That's life.

Lots of babies under 1 find the zoo interesting. Maybe you don't understand but new parents are quite eager to have special family days with their new bubs. Prams are annoying for parents too but there's not really any other option. I took my son to Werribee Zoo when he was about 6 months and he loved it. I did a lot of reading to make sure. It really is a cheap camera for such insanely good image quality. I don't care too much about fancy AF systems so it was the perfect choice I think. I'm hanging out to take it on a session :)

It arrived today :) Think I am in love already.... *huge* difference in image quality!

A 6D. My current camera uses a different type so I'll have to get some new ones. I'm thinking 2 x 16gb instead of one 32 gb :)

I've ordered it today, so hopefully I have it by Friday. I haven't got any cards for it though, it's a bit confusing working out which one to get!

I haven't got it yet, still saving up the extra few bucks. But I got one place down to $1600 so that's where I'll get it from. My 50D is still chugging along :) I mostly use it with the 70-200 F4. Love this one I got of a little boy the other week :) Tlc do you have anymore 6D shots you could share?

Apparently DDP take ages now, so I'm going to email the guy from My Camera Focus as I've heard good stuff too. DDP are apparently now taking 4-5 weeks, and I don't want to wait THAT long.

I've used DD Photographics before but then when I looked it up I read a lot of bad stuff... Same with Kogan. My mum's partner orders a TON of stuff from Kogan, but I read one thread on whirlpool and lots of people had issues! I guess it's the same for every company. I might go with DDP this time... Pretty sure I bought my last lens from there and it came very quickly.

I'm going to have to go grey to get it....I think otherwise it's over 2k still. Anyone had any issues with DWI lately?

I think it is marketed as and is semi pro, just not up to 5DIII standard. With the reports I've looked at, even with the noise reduction turned off on all of them, it's still pretty much the same IQ as the 5DIII. It's a better camera than the 60D, but I'm still not entirely sure that means I need it either. The only one I know not to bother with is the 7D because none of what makes it 'better' than the 60D really makes any difference to me. I don't know..I hate deciding these things.

I'm stuck in a brain rut....reviews are no real help. What would you get...a 60D plus more glass (probably 85mm) or a 6D? Has anyone had both and how would you compare the ISO performance? I push my images a lot in editing, and often have to use 1600, and so if the 60D isn't much better than the 50D then it is kind of pointless I guess.

I'm thinking of selling this, or swapping for another bag...anyone interested? No particular reason, I just have to change my bags all the time as I get bored! Mine is a raspberry colour :)

I would never save any dog over a child and find it hard to believe that faced with the reality, that any decent human being would. It's got nothing to do with how maternal someone is, or how cute you find children - it's about basic empathy for others. Losing a dog is horrible and sad, but contributing to someone losing their child, which is unbearable, is monstrous no matter how you look at it.
